The consolidation of the network in recent years has been crazy from the top of my head there.
18,20,21,23,25, club class, zoom, 1A, amber line, black cat, Spondon flyer, 141, v2, v4, 9.2, ruddington connect,

And probably a load more that have escaped my mind too. I know I’ve missed 27 and 71/72 but they live on at ND

A52 fast to Borrowash Victoria Avenue, then normal route to Long Eaton. I also used it, cos it seemed much quicker. I guess when Your bus finished, it was one Trentbarton bus competing with another. Cracking ride on a Solo, weaving in and out of parked cars; less so with a Scania. Think it looped round at Asda in Long Eaton.
I think I read somewhere that Zoom also generated new passengers for the service as well and didn’t just take from the indigo. Think it was something round 20-30% of passengers didn’t use the bus before.

The Metrocity was loaned by Optare so the Tempo SRs could have warranty work done, but we won't forget their very public response to the 2007 Tempo fiasco, which led to them placing retaliation orders with Mercedes and Volvo, and vowing to never buy from Optare again (despite that lasting a year)

The leased ADL is still with trentbarton, used only on the Nines or Threes
Not quite

It's been used on all 4 routes and does do

True but as a villager user the merging of the v1 & v2 gave a better timetable with a consistent 30 min service has grown the service so now no longer needs supporting on evenings and Sundays hence it was able to get new buses last year.

The 141 is still run by Stagecoach as is the 18 by CT4N.

There's clear comments above about Trentbarton, vehicle quality, care etc.
People seem to have forgotten that this really isn't the top notch 'Really Good Bus Co' that it was just a few years ago..
More, TB says they are really good, and with all that spin, you will believe it. But when you spin "really good", you have to deliver it, not make excuses. Other operators don't say they are really good, but they are just as good.

Tried not to laugh. Hardly any routes now have free WiFi and are the seats super comfy or economically designed?

I suspect that had Trentbarton not ditched many of those services, the losses would have seriously impacted their business; certainly around the COVID years. Having worked in business, I tend to see "profit". That is revenue exceeding costs. That sees investment, survival etc. Costs continue to rise, and passenger numbers drop (well profitable ones).. We have probably seen the Morton Mafia going on about the loss of their 55 service. Yet, I keep hearing hardly anyone used it.

Exact route for zoom I remember well as used it alot. It was fast down A52 as mentioned to Borrowash Victoria Avenue and it did run briefly with the x17 which went Oakbrook and borrwash but that also served priorway avenue estate not just Victoria avenue. Anyway so it went into longeaton then down to New sawley past Westpark and whafedale road. When it 1st started it also went to old sawley as it replaced the old rainbow 5/indigo bit to old sawley as residents there wanted to go Derby instead nottingham which why it changed (plus they did the indigo network review and replace loughborough with skylink, and only kept the long eaton and Derby bits as indigo) (unless just before zoom, they already did the indigo rebrand and replaced with skylink which is why we briefly has the sawley express but my timings may be a bit off as I was very young then i think the latter was right with it replacing the inidigo section of sawley but it may not been replaced straight away) but after a while old sawley didn't want it and couldn't get nottingham bit back so got off in longeaton and changed so zoomed changed from just both old and new sawley to only new sawley when it finished. It did loop asda but onto bound to derby. When going to new sawley it went from town hall to market place like the my15 does. When it got placed it became nottderby 12/12A with the 12 being old xoom route up Victoria avenue and the 12A serving the old section of x17 lost which is up priorway avenue. 12/12A also made it within there timetable to take a bus out for the wilsthorpe school bus that they ran anyway at the time too but they haven't run that for a while now.

That sawley express was wierd routing too I can't remember how it got into longeaton weather it was current skylink or indigo routings through beeston but I remember when it got to long eaton instead of splitting of into 2 routes 1 every half 1h to say old sawley and 1 to new sawley as example, I remember it went longeaton to new sawley then went to old sawley then went back to new sawley before going back into long eaton

Just seen ex Threes Versa 819 on the back of a truck heading away from Langley Mill having been cannibalised for parts. I'd expect it'll be razor blades very soon

Kinch definitely have a plan to take on the 3. They would interwork it with the 2 to enable an hourly frequency to Barrow and Sileby. The new 2 would divert in Loughborough via Great Central Road, Windmill Rd and Beeches Rd to provide a partial replacement for the withdrawn 13. This was all outlined on a 'Proposed Changes' map displayed on a Kinch stand at the Leicestershire County Council 'Active Transport' roadshow held in Loughborough in January. A senior member of Trentbarton was also on hand to confirm my interpretation of the map. Also shown were proposed routes for 5 and 12 to the south of the town. I rather expected that to be happening at the end of May, but clearly Kinch are not yet ready. Perhaps waiting till they are sure they have a more reliable set of vehicles? Versa 822 which is usually assigned to the 2 failed yet again at Quorn on Weds afternoon.
Now looks like these changes will happen on 14 July. The County Council have announced that from 2 Jun routes 3 and 13 will continue on current timetable but as free services provided by Central Connect (Vectare). Also from 2 Jun Central Connect will run a 5A every 30 minutes M-S daytime serving the Haddon Rd area. This will depart from Baxter Gate and run clockwise. 5A service is also free and aims to build up custom before Kinch's revised 5 comes into being.

Have you got a link to any articles suggesting this please?
I will stress, there is no official articles with the dates. The Flixbus UK Enthusiasts Facebook Page using a good number of sources such as information from staff, as well as using information from job vacancies and various other places, to then apply common sense to who will be operating such journeys. And normally this pays off reasonably well. It's strongly educated guesses, or information from staff.

To summarise the screenshot in #1971:
12th June looks to be the following trips starting
2 buses on the 004 (the 2 trips each way which run to/from Derby)
2 buses on the 005 (the 2 trips each way which run to/from Derby as well as the 11:30 London-Leicester & 15:40 Leicester-London

Then from 23rd June,
2 buses which will run the 002 (the 2 trips each way which run via Derby) and the N02
3 buses on the Sheffield 003 which looks to be being operated by TM Travel.

This nicely brings them up to PVR of 9 which is the same as the amount of Flixbuses they are getting.

Have they actually got any coaches yet?
First South & First South Wests Yutongs only turned up the day before they were starting service.

Noticed when I was driving to the airport early yesterday that Kinchbus’s 149 appeared to have a singular tinted window behind the luggage stack. Is this the only vehicle like this?
