Without being too explicit, sweetcorn is pretty much the same when it comes out as when it goes in. Sorry about that.
It's the "Houdini" vegetable. When it comes out, the outer husk remains - but the actual corn has gone. Just like an escape artist out of a box!Without being too explicit, sweetcorn is pretty much the same when it comes out as when it goes in. Sorry about that.
It's Dino City week in Lincoln.Perhaps the Nationwide customers of this parish can explain why their Lincoln branch has a replica dinosaur in the window. This made me smile and quizzical this morning.
Is that at Tuckers? As a homebrewer, have in the past rung up to order malt from themAttending the Maltings beer festival at Newton Abbot.
Cracking event! I normally go when work allows but missed this year.Attending the Maltings beer festival at Newton Abbot.
The Maltings itself closed some years ago. The beer festival is held in a large marquee outside the old Maltings building. Is that at Tuckers? As a homebrewer, have in the past rung up to order malt from them![]()
Sounds awesome, I must get out and see the 56s at work soon.Seeing - and listening ro - 56090 producing the loudest Grid thrash I've heard in the forty+ years I've seen them in action. Made me happy - and a photographer stood near me was in absolute bliss!
Glad you enjoyed it! Being engaged with the elements and ones environment is great for mental health and happiness. My "happy place" in the environment is when I can watch what I call "the big sky" by which I mean being in a place where I can see to the horizon (such as looking out to sea). When I do that it makes me feel grounded and content with life.Walking home from my walk in the rain.
Maybe a little strange but always gets a chuckle out of me when it starts pouring it down.
Plus, I quite like the rain anyway - it's relaxing to me.
Totally agree with the first sentence!Seeing Max Verstappen beaten into fourth place in the Miami grand prix.
