Don't believe so. Expectation is they'll get replaced in about 10 years.

once themeslink have their 700s then either the 387s or 377/5s and 3 377/2s will go to emt for the corby services after electrification, the one that isn't chosen will go to southern to replace some 455s.

No some 317s will still remain as there are other subclasses.

Could not some of the GN 321s return to the LM? From what I have seen they are desperately short of stock in the West Midands and with the Bromsgrove and Rugeley TV lines being electrified the problem will get worse.

I would think its more likely 323s will run Bromsgrove and Rugeley services with 350/4s from TPE coming south. The TPE electrics are only a stop gap until new electric units are ordered with TPE electrification.

There will be some 315's released from both NE London and off the Shenfield locals fairly soon (in railway terms) + the whole GN fleet of 313's - which could give a very usefull pol of old but serviceable trains for cascade elsewhere.

Parhaps to give to LM if they're short of emus(as child wall blues said) 20 4 car trains could go in pairs, freeing up 321s to go in pairs, too.
