This may be a trivial question, but it's driving me nuts....

Can anyone identify the station backdrop to the "Bet365 Bingo" sponsorship advert on ITV1 for the Emmerdale soap please?

Many thanks in advance.

If it's the one I'm thinking of then it looks like Whitley Bay on the Tyne & Wear Metro.

Edit - I would like to point out that I don't watch Emmerdale, I just saw the ad at the start of it the other night and thought I recognised the station. Needless to say the channel was changed quicker than a bat out of hell when I realised Emmerdale proceeded it.

Woah. Someone's got a guilty conscience! :P

Oh believe me I don't, the edit was to absolutely ensure no-one associates me with such drivel ;) - soaps are the only thing I'll point blank refuse to watch on TV. I agree with the person who told me once that it's a far fetched as horse s*** from Africa!

It's actually Tynemouth.

Thanks, I wasn't too sure as it's the only part of the T&WM I've not done, but I know Whitley Bay / Tynemouth and a couple of others have quite wide platforms, like the ad suggests.

Tried to find an online version without success, but 100% Tynemouth.

Also, there is an advert on for Intel processors, the first station featured is Sunderland. It then changes to what I suspect is a preserved Southern Railways station.
