Former 'Who' bassist perhaps?
Exactly!

I saw the image at the weekend, and didn't recognise it, though I was puzzled by the view of so many mature trees rooted in deep water. Stupidly, I didn't think of a reservoir as an explanation.

But now that we can also see the curved road over the same lake or reservoir, the location becomes very clear.
But it now leads to this question: how do people pronounce "Wayoh Reservoir" ?

In the centre of the photograph I recognise the electrical sub station built in similiar style as the station building

(open floor if correct)

Since we seem to have had no conformation regarding the answer, I have posted a new station for you all to guess.
