As per title. Bonus points if it's accessible by rail. On a train now, will add my own later...
The most overrated pub in Derby ! If you go there, take your own glass with you...Ignoring those that do not need a train for me (usually):
1. The Brunswick Inn, Derby, 1 train, for anything that takes my fancy.
(perhaps the forum could promote a monthly session there, I would be a regular ).
The Bedford, Tunbridge Wells.
Great Western, Wolverhampton.
Was there fog on the Tyne?I used to like the Boathouse at Wylam although I haven't been in for a while and I've read bad things about the landlord recently. Certainly used to have an array of hand pulled real ales plus two kinds of pickled eggs. The ones in the cloudy jar weren't for the faint hearted. Practically on the westbound platform at Wylam. Cycled there from Durham with a mate once, lovely ride along the river. Had an extra pint, fell in the Tyne on the way back.
....plus two kinds of pickled eggs.
Two questions:
Is the number of pickled egg kinds a genuine marker of pub quality?
How can there be two ways to pickle a egg?
Totally concur re The Great Western, Wolverhampton. Great beer and food.Great Western, Wolverhampton.

The Station, Codsall is fantastic too. Especially worth a visit for their beer festival too.
