Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you to offer my sincere apologies regarding not being able to present a valid ticket when questioned by the WMR staff on 23/04/2025. I’m ashamed that it has taken something like this for me to realise the severity of fare evading and I acknowledge I acted completely foolishly by doing this.
I can assure you I have learnt my lesson and I am purchasing valid tickets for all trips. I explored the option of a rail card but this does not work out as the fare needs to be a minimum of £12. I have instead chosen (and am already using) flexi season tickets (unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be a more long term option, otherwise I would choose this).
I would be very grateful for the chance to settle this with you directly. I intend to fully cooperate with your investigation and can provide payment (in full and immediately), that you deem necessary to cover the cost and time this has taken WMR to investigate.
Once again, I am sorry for the inconvenience I have caused and I hope I can resolve this matter with you.
