XC Bristol to Manchester - Sundays

Hello,

Does anyone know the reasoning behind XC not operating any direct services between Bristol and Manchester on Sundays? Over the next 3 months I can only find one Sunday where they operating direct services, 7th September.

When are these direct services expected to return?

Looks like all XC trains are diverted via Worcester and Stourbridge Jn, so the usual diagrams are disrupted.
Must be engineering work south of Barnt Green as Redditch services are running.
Maybe linked to the Bromsgrove new station/electrification project.

Yes, due to works around Bromsgrove AFAIK. All LM Herefords are diverted via Kidderminster too.

Will it be completed by Christmas? I.e. XC running to standard timetable.
