Well I still shoot black & white film (mostly Fuji Neopan, coz it's got such a good latitude and crispness).

Hardware-wise, I have:
Canon Eos 1v HS
+ 100-400mm L IS lens
+ (when I need the length - oooh, Missus!) 2x teleconverter
+ Manfrotto heavy-gauge monopod and multi-way head.
Oh, and a hernia...

Here is my kit but I do not have many pictures of trains as yet!!! Just have not got around to taking any for my own collection!

Canon EOS 5D
Canon EOS 400D
Canon 500 SLR Silver (Film Camera) with lots of Ilford HP5 Plus B&W film))
Canon Sureshot EX Film Compact (still works!)
Canon A1100 IS Digital Compact
Canon IXUS 400 Digital Compact
EF 24-105mmf/4L IS USM
EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM
Canon EF 1.4x II Extender
Speedlite 430EX II flash unit.
Manfrotto Monopod and ball head (ball head cost more than the monopod!!!)
An old Jessops Tripod that I have had for years. Cheap but brilliant!
Home Studio lighting kit (2 Head) with big bag to carry it all in.
Epson R2800 A3 Printer (for B&W printing)
Lots and lots of filters, little bits, batteries, spare cards, reflectors etc etc......

Started back in the mid eighties with an Olympus OM4Ti which I just loved. This got stolen and I replaced it with a Minolta 7Xi. Then I got a Canon EOS 10 which I kept up until I got my first digital camera.

Still learning!!!! :)

I have more cameras than Jessops,

well thats what the missus says.

Nowadays i use a Canon 40D. with either of the two leness that came with it. (As soon as I've saved a grand and a bit I'll be getting a decent lens for it. I have a Canon 350D as backup and various Canon SLR, Pentax SLR's, an Olympus om10 and Minolta 7000 SLR 35mm Cameras. Plenty of compacts Digital and 35mm.

People know I like photography and just give me their old or unwanted gear.

I used to use my 3MP Vivitar Vivicam 3785 but it's never really been good at outdoor shots. Since May I've used the camera on my phone (3.2MP) as it takes pretty good stills but I've noticed it's complete rubbish for motion shots, video is fine though.

I'm getting a 12MP Olympus X-42 for Christmas :)
