For me it was today on 1U07 09.00 Paddington - Bristol as far as Swindon. 43086 and 43189 were doing the honours.

1R90 from Grantham to Peterborough was the last train I went on & therefore the last one of 2018 for me

Chiltern provided 68012 as my last one this year on the 22nd of December with the 17:10 from London Marylebone through to Leamington.

It was VTWC Super Voyager 221142 on 13th December 2018 for me. It worked the 1740 Glasgow Central to Birmingham New Street service and I travelled as far as Stafford

For me, it will have been 390157 from Stafford to Liverpool on Saturday 22 December, on the return leg of a jaunt to Bromsgrove to see how 323's handle the Lickey incline, (with commensurate ease is the answer).

Having not been on a train over Christmas (neither through work nor leisure) , it was 1015 London Pad - Cheltenham (Swindon - Gloucester) for me with 43017 & 43153 on Saturday 22/12.

Can think of far worse for my last train of the year, because I sure won't get a chance to say that at this time in 2019
