Great stuff @Peter Mugridge At video 00:15, the "chalet style" waterside apartments on the extreme left of your shot. The second one (Georgian House, on Capulet Mews) I lived there 2005-2006 before migrating to King George V Dock, where I lived in the former pumping house for six enjoyable years.
I have mixed feelings about the Emirates Air Line (as it was called). Its construction was the death knell for our "local" floating pub - a wonderful sailboat, The Henry Johnson, that former windsurf guru Peter Chilvers owned and managed. A one-minute trip, front door to gang plank. Peter's dry wit, impromptu guitar playing and a very informal approach to settling our drinks bills (!) made relaxing on deck all the more enjoyable.
He also used to park his SWB Lotus Esprit next to the boat.
