66726 is a reasonable suggestion, and agree it would be great to see it running on routes to Shepton and Bath as well as Weston.

In other news, a few Bath buses are out working rail replacement services between Oxford and Didcot, and are expected to be based there all week. Noted today were two sreetlites, 65624 (or whatever that Scania's number is) and blue liveried 66883.

That would be 65724 :D

I wonder if the rail punters will be a bit reluctant to board 66883 with Twerton and Whiteway branded all over it, pretty blue though it is?!

Interesting working today, 32007 complete in Bath Uni Bus livery sat in Bristol on a 37.

As it is Bath 's only remaining purple Uni livery (the others are now open toppers or at WM 32014/5) I thought it would be parked up for the summer. However it has been out on various routes and regularly on U1 while the MMCs are or were away. Quite surprised to see it in Bristol though, no doubt adding to the colourful scene there!

First has a bunch of buses away on rail replacement in Oxfordshire hence uni buses are being used on different routes.

From that news article, the 4 is being operated with Bath Spa Unibus double deckers. Does that mean the 05-plate Darts are on rail replacement? Unlucky passengers if so!

2 05 darts are in wells its b7s from the 5 and solos on rr and i think a few other bits so the darts are covering the 5

Considering the height of Twerton Arch I'm glad the Darts are on the 5 and not the Bath Spa Uni B7s! As discussed before The Twerton Arch is the reason why 39920 is an open topper or tree lopper!

B7TL 32090 now has a purple colour front instead of the red for the 90. For the 3/4 perhaps?

Well it could be for 3/4, 36 or 9. Maybe that is the colour 32074 will come out as?

PVR of 36 = 7 from September
PVR of 3/4 = 15 (?)
PVR of 9 = 3

So considering there are 8 51 reg B7TLs, I'd probably guess they're for 36. Unless of course some more aged deckers come in for 3/4.

Cannot be for the 9s, these along with the 72s will be singles. They are moving up to the 8 stop under the canopy at Temple Meads, to free up space on the incline for the new A1 deckers.

Its been confirmed on facebook that it is for the 3/4. I personally would've liked the LK53s and LK04 branded for these routes.

Is there a reason the 8 isn't double decker? Or at least longer single deckers? I feel sorry for everyone crushed on it when it goes past at Temple Meads!

The 36 only has two boards that need deckers; Darts are more than enough for it.

There are 18 ALX B7s unbranded in Bristol though this does include W regs; I'd be surprised if they got painted though.
They could do some shoufling so the W reg ALXs are in Bath for the 19 and 37, with the newer examples moved to LH for painting.

Once the Metrobis is in full swing, there will be the P&R B7 Geminis going spare. There will also be some B9 Geminis freed up with the introduction of the gas buses on the 1s. With a bit of jiggling, I'm sure a matching fleet can be put together for another service e.g. 36s etc. I dought anything will be done with the 73/75/76 with the impending Metrobus.
