The same information has been passed to me, hopefully a ten car 707 but things could change in the next 24 hours so don't bank on it running. 707003 & 707005 the most likely numbers.

If that is indeed a 707, it's odd how it runs fast from Hounslow to Ascot... I won't get on it then :-x

Though it's results day so I'll be too busy anyway

And why are they starting the first one at Brentford of all places?

(First post so yay)

I live fairly close to Brentford, so I'll have a gander tomorrow morning to see if it's actually a 707. Either way, it's a rogue service to Reading from Brentford, so this'll be interesting.

I can see a 1900 off Farnham CSD tonight (hasn't run), but there's another booked 1900 off Farnham CSD for tomorrow night, and Fri morn there's an 0107 Peterborough to Clapham Yard. Both routed via Farringdon.

Assume this is a test consisting of 001/002 then? I know it's stating the obvious, but thought I'd say it still ! ;)

707007 is in Clapham tonight still coupled to 707008, 707004 & 707006 are in the adjacent siding. 707003 & 707005 are at Wimbledon in preparation for their debut tomorrow. 707001 & 707002 are at Farnham, not sure where 707009 and 707010 are.

707010 was doing test runs between Woking and Guildford yesterday. Happened to catch it when I was looking out my flat window!

Whichever unit(s) is doing the service just arrived at Brentford as 5Z31 and formed 2Z31. Exciting times.

Are we certain it's actually a 707 and not just a 450/455/458?

009 plus one other are the other two units also at Farnham. Two shed roads have been taken up with two 10 car rakes (so 4 units in total) since the blockade began, both protected by possession marker boards.

Fast to Ascot from Hounslow currently. Well, I say fast...

We've got a Weybridge and a Windsor in front. Should be picking up after VW.
