Brighton Kemptown goes red - and with a convincing majority.

Labour gain Enfield Southgate and Keighly.

Amber Rudd sadly narrowly retains Hastings and Rye.

This from twitter:

After the second recount in North East Fife, there is now just ONE vote in it. If SNP get one back it could go to a coin toss. #GE2017

It's not all over yet. Conservatives gain Stoke South.

Been looking at the NI results. SF have 7 seats, so a majority is 326 -7. As well as deducting another 3 for speaker/ deputy seats. So technically 316/317 is needed for a majority. If I've worked it out right.

Assuming there's agreement, looks like Conservative/DUP coalition.

Labour hold Southampton Test. With that, the Tories can no longer form a majority without going into coalition.

I wonder how Theresa's resignation speech is coming along. Looking forward to hearing it.

Scotland's only Tory 24 hours ago has unsurprisingly held his seat - Mundell holds Dumfriesshire. He's now got some friends to play with.

Just one Scottish result to come in now - NE Fife.

Any word about Brighton Pavilion?

Tories going into coalition with a party actively endorsed by paramilitaries who shot dead a fella in a car park last week. Great stuff!

If it's anything true to form she'll have written it herself with no input from anyone else.

Mind you, be careful what you wish for. You could get Gove or Boris.

This has been a real watershed year in NI. Constitutional politics is now front and centre, hence the two playground bullies, SF and DUP, have cleaned up very nicely. Moderate constitutional parties, the SDLP and the UUP, have been completely annihilated.

I predict this is the end for the UUP who will probably merge with the DUP. Speculation rife again that the SDLP may merge or do a deal with Fianna Fáil south of the border.

This is definitely the Brexit election.

Boris and Drumpf. Could be entertaining. I've long since given up hope of competence, so entertainment value is top of my agenda.

Likely that NI will have unprecedented relevance in the coming days and years. Probably a good thing for them.

FWIW SF will not be breaking their tradition of not attending parliament, so even if they could join a coalition of chaos, they won't.
