Thanks Again - when I plan some time out, I'll see what the forum can help me track down.
There are still loads of 92's I haven't caught up with. I saw some when first introduced but have been away for 20+ years. I haven't seen 92003/004/007/013/014/020/021/026/028/029/035/037/038/042/043/045/046. There are a few no longer in the UK. Three of these listed here are or were at Loughborough but not viewable when I've visited so far. Some are stored at CE IEMD but as we know, not identifiable/viewable. I've caught up with 92010/044/18/032 & 033 since my interest has returned this year.
DB 92s:
92003 was shipped abroad sadly earlier this year - possibly to be used for spares - so that maybe one that gets away
92004/007/013/029/035/037 all in Crewe Electric with varying degrees of difficulty seeing them
- 035 for one has recently been moved into view
92026 is in Romania
92042 (along with 92011/015/019/036) is one of the remaining five active DB 92s - all based at the tunnel, although they do make fairly regular trips via Wembley and the WCML to Crewe Electric for exam/repair - it's just a case of getting lucky and maybe having a bit of notice that one is on its way (which we might be able to help you with...)
GBRf 92s:
92014 and 043 are active and currently regulars on the Sleeper so hopefully you'll see those before too long
92020 is being reinstated after 17 years in store - already in GBRf livery and should be out sometime next year, so you can tick that one off then
92028 is active - currently at the Channel Tunnel so not easy to see, but they do rotate them so may pop up on the Sleeper or Dagenham/Garston car train before too long
92038 is currently in Brush receiving reliability mods and adaptations (including Dellners) to work with the new stock - should be out and about soon
92021 (Coquelles) and 92045/046 (Brush - in the car park usually hidden behind a lorry park) are all stored and currently not easy to see - future of these currently uncertain - the GBRf MD was quoted a few months back as saying they may yet bring back two more of the remaining four stored ones (these three plus 040) - but no further news on that one. Think they're concentrating on bringing back 006 and 020 for now.
