Passed all my assessments today, just waiting to hear back about the MMI result, was told 7-10 days. That was the worst part IMO.

Anyone else with any updates?

Received a call today telling me that I passed my MMI and to schedule a date next week for the DMI but I needed to check my work schedule so just waiting on a call back to arrange.

Anyone from the March round of recruitment heard anything yet? My application online doesn't appear to have even been looked at yet as the date and time for "last assessed" is exactly the date and time I submitted it.

I know there is still a month to go in their "2 weeks to 4 months" window but wondering if the dreaded, thanks but no thanks, email is headed my way..

I applied in March and still waiting to hear back. A friend of mine applied a couple of weeks after me but he heard back from Arriva who told him he was unsuccessful. So I’m a bit confused as to why I still havent heard anything. I emailed them and they told me the waiting time was between 2weeks to 4 months. When I log on to the Arriva wedsite my application seems to be untouched since I submitted it.

Hi mate, I’ve just received an email inviting me to arriva assessment day 1. I’ve passed everything with gtr and sitting in a talent pool. If I go to arriva do you know what I would have to sit? Ie. The group bourdon? As I’ve already passed with gtr. Any info on this would be a huge help
Many thanks

Arriva have enhanced pass rates, so if you haven’t completed the assessments that are applicable to the enhanced standard, you will have to re-sit them. Not sure if GTR are standard or enhanced.

Got invited to assessment day also. I've already passed tests to enhanced standard with another Toc. Does anyone know if ARL have the highest pass mark of the Tocs due to the huge application volume they receive?

Best of luck guys. I recently failed a DMI ever so slightly, gutted. Now have to wait 6 months for ARL.

I was told that there will be another recruitment process this year, though.

Problem is I can’t apply until 12th December. :frown:

Hi Guys... Got an invite for my first assessment... Been practicing daily.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding this supplementary practice tests. If anyone has the pdf... It's on page 27 where you have the boxes with the dot and the boxes with letters in them. Is that right that I'm only getting 4 seconds in total per line. Just seems impossible.

I would just say keep practicing and trying to get better.

I wouldn’t get too caught up in timing and seconds etc as the test is not actually what you are doing there.

It’s just an exercise to get you used to doing two things at once.

Hello LukeC88,

They emailed me on the 12th July to let me know I passed my assessments. I have second stage assessments on the 15th August. When is your first stage?

Like OneLowban said, just keep practising. Make sure you get a good nights rest the night before and make sure you leave early enough as not to be late.
When it’s time to take the tests the lady will give instructions and there will be practise tests before each assessment which will show you exactly what is expected. Make sure you listen and follow the instructions carefully. If you have prepared well you will be fine.
Best of luck mate, let us know how you get on
