I think it does.Isn't the current platform where the old station "throat" used to be anyway, so still part of the station footprint.
I wasn't aware it used to have 9 platforms. That seems pretty excessive for a terminus in the middle of nowhere built to serve a racecourse! IIRC it was down to one before it was closed and rebuilt closer to Sutton. I remember going there when there were four platforms but only one road.

With I suspect the lowest off peak frequency in the London area - 1 tph - and that was cancelled when I went there last Autumn...
I think you'll find Sudbury and Harrow Road and Sudbury Hill Harrow can both comfortably beat Epsom Downs on that score
