Honeybourne was once served by services on the Gloucester & Warwickshire railway which allowed direct services north to Stratford-upon-Avon.
Hag Fold is one of the local stations that lie on the Southport to Manchester Line; another station on the same line is Hoscar Moss.
INFORMATION
When that station was opened by the Manchester and Southport Railway in 1871, it was called Hoscar Moss, but that railway became a part of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, who then re-named the station as Hoscar on 1st January 1900 and that is still the name used by that station.
Stations in NI are not allowed.Mossley station in Greater Manchester should not be mistaken for Mossley West station in Ballyhenry, Newtownabbey, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Note that you should only reply with a station on the main BR network (e.g. not Underground or Preserved Railway) that is still open.
Stations in NI are not allowed.
See this part of the rules:
Marsden (West Yorkshire) is another station managed by Northern, but who's main services are provided by TransPennine Express.Mossley has also been added to TransPennine Express services from Hull to Manchester in recent timetable changes.
