A few pages back, a poster suggested the National Entitlement Card would not be accepted on the XP23 - to my knowledge, it is accepted on every other bus route in Scotland. I know the Edinburgh trams and Glasgow Subway restrict to their own local authority's cards - are McGill's permitted to introduce this exclusion?
Talkino of the card, a relative took a bus from Theatre Royal in Glasgow to roughly Firhill in Maryhill but her ticket stated from Broomielaw to Clydebank - was this the operator trying to pull a fast one and claiming more from the journey?

Bus operators can remove the concession card from services which charge a premium - night buses/specials/airport runs. This would fall under that i guess. Sense many bus operators would scrap it all together given the choice!

Second point I think that is how First fare stages work- if you pay full fare in city you often get to terminus. It's essentially a flat fare of £2.40.

No23 changes have appeared and it will come as NO surprise the 23 have been cut back to every 15mins between Glasgow - hospital and Breahead. What ever Mcgills been saying its been underhanded..

What's it called? It's called Cumbernauld
Regarding the 17, I can see it eventually being truncated to run between Paisley and the new Southern General Hospital, based on how the overall route has been cut so far. Also, First already covers the Bus Station-Hospital via Partick and Clyde Tunnel with the 77.

That is my prediction anyway.

Would be strange I think more likely to go back to 30mins or pull it entirely. Lot of passengers use it from Paisley/Cardonald to get into the West End and University, so terminating it short of the tunnel is a waste of time. Worth pointing out that 20mins is still up on what Arriva ran until latterly on that route.

First day of service is April 1st I believe, and I think the plan for the deckers is to keep them for the mornings and keep them in the depot during the day with I may be wrong

They look too stagecoachy on the inside, personally I'm not a fan of the interior pole and panel colour, to light in shade, I think darker Greys and Creams give an Interior far more depth.

Seen a standard shorter new enviro 200 on the 26 this evening, looked very smart if they are going to be allocated to the 26 wonder if that means most of the LEZ routes will be euro6 in no time.

It can't come soon enough, some of the buses on the Barrhead depot runs are in a awful state. It's believe the Barrhead depot has been sold on arealdy.
