Yes they haveSo just to confirm, have both 142029 and 142033 gone off lease now?
Cheers.
Oh no, I need 142016 and 142022 that are at WorksopAt least I can remove that one from my list of mileage needs, the one which got away.
Yes they have
I wouldn't' be surprised if mechanical condition has more to do with it than seat design.

seems to be running rather late nowReported as 142 088/93 and 96.
Where will they be staying overnight?Terminated at derby I think, presumably the DNKY on open train times maps denoting donkey?
Paperwork issues according to a group I'm in with the being cleared to Tamworth or something
Shurely they'd be toasty warm if you put them in the Furness? If you've been to Barrow nothing could be warm stored there.
Pacers went through Tamworth lots of times in the past while on the various West Country to Newton Heath Jaunts, so I'm guessing not too many issues on that front.
LovelyWith the Class 142s leaving the North East after Saturday; I have made a tribute video to showcase my experiences over the past 3 years...

Ah 142050, the final unit of the first batch of 142s and the first unit trial fitted with the Cummins engine and Voith transmission (EDIT: Just the Voith transmission initially!). Bit historically significant in the annals of Pacer development, that one.3 more pacers off tomorrow, 142039/142050/142066 however not going to Worksop https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/K05708/2019-12-12/detailed

As one of Heaton's first 142s and one of only a handful to carry Northern Spirit livery (Being one of three, along with 142065/066, to retain their original Provincial livery until privatisation), I've always considered it quite a prominent member of the class. One of my favourites that one.
Yes, Heaton will ultimately have allocated Northern's 16 Perkins engined 158s in the 1588xx series, and I believe all but 16 of Northern's 156s.All these pacers being withdrawn particularly at Heaton and I dont see any internal stock moves to replace them. Did I read Heaton was to get more 156s and 158s.

Anyway, does anyone know which one is today's 5Z35, 12:27½ Sheffield to Worksop please?
