Jarvis Cocker travelling Sunday evening from Edale to Sheffield, not in 1st either as there isn't one!
I'm pretty certain that Jarvis leads National Trust walks on Kinder Scout hence the reason for him boarding at EdaleJarvis Cocker travelling Sunday evening from Edale to Sheffield, not in 1st either as there isn't one!

Didn't know that.
Had been on a circuit up from Edale following the Pennine Way to Jacobs Ladder then anticlockwise around the tops to Mam Tor, Hopkins Cross then down.
Very packed with people on the first section towards Kinder Scout - maybe the celebrity effect of Jarvis - certainly more hipster beards in evidence than amongst the usual walker demographic!

Well it's the common people who launched the mass trespass on Kinder in the 1930s!Does he want to do what Common People do?
Sorry, couldn't resist...
She now lives in Surrey, and yesterday afternoon she was on the platform at Godalming station catching a Waterloo train. She was with two other people - I didn't see whether they headed for first or standard, but it was a refurbished 450 with the small first class bay behind the cab, so not too much room there. When I was a kid I met Penelope Keith a few times. She was friends with a historian guy who lived on our small road in Colne, and she bought a house in the nearby picturesque village of Wycoller.

I came across him last Wednesday at Stirling station, I was enroute to Aberdeen and he was going to Gleneagles so we on the same train for a wee while. Filming in Stirling both sides of the ticket gates and then on the platform at Gleneagles as we pulled out of the station.
Had Kathy Burke sit behind me on the 10:04 Paddington - Penzance train yesterday (I got off at Exeter and don't know where she was heading). She had a 1st class ticket but was sat in the back of the Standard carriage next to the 1st bit, I know this because the inspector asked why she wasn't in 1st and she thought she actually was (complimenting the seats), which made a number of us around her laugh and the inspector say he took it as a compliment.
Yes what she said was a surprise, but I didn't speak up about the contrary in the same conversation. Hopefully the guard doesn't mention it to the DfT, although it will inevitably have come up in his mess room gossip.Don't tell the DfT or else they'll downgrade the IET seats because the standard class ones are clearly too comfortable!
Before xmas sat behind Wayne Hussey (The Mission) on 172006 between Coventry and Leamington spa. He boarded a voyager to Oxford.
Saw the Duchess of Cornwall (plus entourage) exit Birmingham New Street a few weeks back. She got the luxury of being ushered directly out to the drop off area via the fire exit near Costa.
Eddie Hearn at Shenfield. He took the one the opposite platform not our train that was coming in a minute later but always leaves earlier.
I once saw Greg Davies in the pub and said ’hey it’s Greg Wallace’ ... he was not happy about that at all lol... so that’s probably why.. he’s probably met him too heheheheJust a bit of fun,
Who is the most famous person you’ve had on your train? I’ve had some slim pickings, though I had Greg Wallace on my train once (The bald one from master chef) he was the most miserable obnoxious douche bag
