How do 323s hold motor speeds, is it some form of speed set or a different system?
The video below shows what I am talking about:-

I'm not a driver but I'll take a guess and say that they have REALLY good acceleration and deceleration which means that they have fast responding times.

Just the usual 4 power notch/Westcode 3-step + emergency Traction and Brake Controller.

The drivers manual doesn't list a speed speedset being fitted that I see, so imagine drivers either coast or run in whatever notch they need to maintain speed as required.

Thanks for both of your responses. Do 323s have a break-hold button? If it is could it be used to hold the motor speed?

They have a hill-start button which maintains a step one brake application while power is applied, it automatically releases at 6mph if not already deselected.
