Hull Paragon they're still closed. To be fair to Northern, they're TPE run.

Not in the Northern area, but as I posted the other day, at Gloucester station the only toilets there are marked "These toilets are for Key Workers ONLY. Please gain a pass from the ticket office.". Absolutely unbelievable. If you're not a "Key Worker"(god, I am absolutely sick and tired of hearing and seeing that phrase!), then you're not welcome to use the toilets at this station!

There is no excuse for any toilet to be shut. By all means have a one in one out system, but picking up Covid is the least of your worries in a public bog, and if you don't wash your hands at any time let alone now you're a filthy so and so.

So if you are not a key worker you are expected to soil yourself? Even if you are a key worker and desperate for a pee you have to go to the ticket office, find someone to give you a pass and then go back to the bog? That's the problem with so many of these covid measures, they just arn't thought out properly at all.

The toilets at Stevenage station, operated by GTR, have been open throughout from what I can gather. They were definitely open at the end of May as I used them. Toilets in mainline stations in London also appear to have been open throughout.

What happens if you are not a key worker but have a radar key (ie access throough disability)?
If facilities are locked up, then it's time they were unlocked, otherwise they will be accused using Covid as an excuse to avoid cleaning/servicing these areas.
As it happened last night I changed my plans and didn't use the railway, probebly will during the week.

Not immediately relevant to the OP but the Network Rail operated stations in London have open toilets for most of the day. They are closed in the early morning and late evening, as well as 45-minute closures for cleaning three or four times a day. The timings are posted outside.

Perhaps may read across to Leeds and Manchester Picc which I believe are Network Rail stations also.

I've only used Chiltern and WMT so far, but in my experience all on-train toilets were in full working order and clean.
Milton Keynes Central platform 1/2 toilets are closed "so that cleaning effort can be re-focussed elsewhere".

I think thats the same at Glasgow Central , they close for 15 mins during the day. And close early at night , they are the pretty much the only toilets open in the city , though may of changed with shops opening.

Not been on a train since the start of lockdown now but I don't think Northern have been locking out their onboard toilets so you should be able to use those: indeed, they were encouraging people to go in and wash their hands periodically.

Leeds toilets are open on the main concourse (but not the ones on platform 8). There's some portacabins outside the station front with toilets, I think they're available for public use.

Northern toilets have been in use throughout. Conductors have been instructed to lock toilet doors open if the toilet itself is out of service/faulty but there's still water available so that hands can still be washed.

Cardiff Central have 4 Toilets but only one, on Platform 8, is available and like TFWs Essential Travel gloom and doom message, give out the "When it's safe they will open" generic reply to the many who complain including those who have to endure a route march if on Platform 1 and so far they could have accident by the time they reached there.

That sounds a little bit odd because surely you want more toilets open under these circumstances (to decrease the chance of too many people needing to use a single toilet and therefore compromising social distancing)

By "unchanged" do you mean open or closed? Got an hour's connection at New Street tomorrow so need to know!

Also does anyone know whether the escalators to the shopping centre are open, and are the toilets up there available?

Nottingham's have still been closed.

London Terminals toilets generally open as mentioned above.

All the trains I've been on that should have toilets have had most (if not all) open and operating, and only one had no functioning water but the toilet opposite did.
