Only for TOCs where RTT provide the unit numbers though, surely? There is no such agreement for the operator of 315s.There's Raildar that gives a map location for the units based on the RTT live updates.

There's also a set of diagrams in the files section of this group. There isn't any such website where Class 315s can be tracked. Observations of the units operating are sometimes reported by correspondents local to the line on the 'ukmodernemu' group, https://groups.io/g/ukmodernemu, in particular if the units cover daytime workings in place of 345s.
In the peak on weekdays - there are fairly regular reports on the ukmodernemu group as they sometimes end up working longer into the morning if there is a swap. What times of the day do TfL 315s run at the moment please?![]()
Ah ok, thanks. In the peak on weekdays - there are fairly regular reports on the ukmodernemu group.
Yes, but I imagine registration should be approved fairly readily.Ah ok, thanks.
Do you have to register on that site to see the diagrams then?
They were reposted in the group yesterday (Wednesday). Note they won't run over Easter weekend or next week owing to engineering works. They will return on Monday 12th April.Ah ok, thanks.

317665/667 are on their way to Newport for scrap today. This is the start of an intense week of EMU scrapping with Cl.315s/317s/321s all set for their final trips this week.
That tweet is for 317sLooks as if we could be seeing the first 315 scrap move of 2021 this week according to this tweet from RAIL’s Richard Clinnick https://twitter.com/Richard_rail/status/1381542865558441984

But only 317s quoted as actually going for scrap, I'll wait and see if all the movements go as planedI can read Class 315 there
It was pointed out in the Class 345 thread that the start of 9-car operation in the next month or so will lead to the reduction of the 315 fleet resuming.
Do we really need another PEP derivative for preservation!? Surely 313.201 is a more worthy and important contender in the National Collection...Anyone know of any updates with 809? Last I heard it had been stored. Would be nice if it’s being lined up for preservation.

No doubt all set to be painted into some ghastly pre-privatisation livery like many of them areThe 315 preservation group are trying to get a 315 to preserve.
I have a feeling it might be 809.
As it seems odd it’s the last LO unit in existence and its just been sat at Wolverton Works for months on end.
and it’s not been scrapped yet.
I mean, why else would they store just one 315 at Wolverton for?![]()
If 809 is preserved, I vote for NSE as we already have a BR blue & grey example and the GN 313 so painted in its final weeks has succumbed to the scrap manNo doubt all set to be painted into some ghastly pre-privatisation livery like many of them are

The 315 Preservation Group are after 315820; they've stated it a few times on their Facebook page.
I'm not sure if there's any reason other than one of the committee likes that unit in particular. My vote would go to 315839.
Oh right.Next time 809 moves it'll be onto a low loader to go for scrap. Its being stripped of spares.
My mate works at Wolverton, apparently stripping started about a month ago.Oh right.
That's news to me.
May I ask a source for this?![]()
