Oh well, that marks the end of the LO 315s then!
1980-2021 - 41 years of PEP-ing up the nation!
PEPs may continue into 2022 in some parts of the country!

That's music to my ears!PEPs may continue into 2022 in some parts of the country
I was only referring to the LO 315s specifically. They also started well before 1980, but I assumed they were referring to 315s specifically that, verb, pepped...
How many 315's are left please?
Many thanks14

From 16 May only 3x8 car 315’s will be required
I always feel sorry for stock that goes to Sims Newport. It undoubtedly gets the "fastest" death, but it's by far the most brutal.

The last list I saw also had 826 and 851 still around. Have these gone for scrap or are they stored out of use somewhere?14

Some of the 313s had a very quick demise being towed away withing 48 hours of carrying their last passengers. I don't think any of the 315s have gone that quickly.Yes it is quite sobering that a unit can be sitting in its home depot on juice one night, then not just exist a couple of days later.
Many pacers ended service and were driven to Sims! Some of the 313s had a very quick demise being towed away withing 48 hours of carrying their last passengers. I don't think any of the 315s have gone that quickly.
Oh yes they do.and Southern have no known plans to replace their 313s.
No known plans i.e. they’re not in the public domain yet.Oh yes they do.
They’ve not been made public ‘officially’ yet it’s true. But the plans exist. The future is dark, dark purple. No known plans i.e. they’re not in the public domain yet.
Might I suggest a bit of discretion in that case. It's obviously not hard to imagine the 313s being replaced, but in the meantime there's commercial sensitivity and all that. They’ve not been made public ‘officially’ yet it’s true. But the plans exist. The future is dark, dark purple.

Not lives, but careers possibly. It is hardly state secret stuff that is going to cost lives.
Yes they willAre they likely to get any unit?
Yes they have been stored at adderbroke sidings for about a fortnight now.I believe 315820 and 315834 are withdrawn and will be the next to go. Doesn't look like the 315 preservationists will get their preferred unit after all.
