Coming back from Southend early this pm - there were 2 8 car sets berthed at Shenfield , I at Gidea Park and one in service.

I always feel sorry for stock that goes to Sims Newport. It undoubtedly gets the "fastest" death, but it's by far the most brutal.

Yes it is quite sobering that a unit can be sitting in its home depot on juice one night, then not just exist a couple of days later.

Some of the 313s had a very quick demise being towed away withing 48 hours of carrying their last passengers. I don't think any of the 315s have gone that quickly.

Might I suggest a bit of discretion in that case. It's obviously not hard to imagine the 313s being replaced, but in the meantime there's commercial sensitivity and all that.

Yes they will

315820 isn’t in very good shape and needs a lot doing to it so very unlikely to be the unit they will require

Yes they have been stored at adderbroke sidings for about a fortnight now.
They went in there on Thursday the 28th April 2021.
