If it is only a few, maybe easier to write which they are?Can anyone please tell me whereabouts the stored 321s are on the Greater Anglia network and their numbers if possible? still trying to track down the last few required units.
Many thanks
Oliver
These are the ones I still need of which I'm not sure what's in service or stored 321301/313/321/324/334/343/428/443/902/903If it is only a few, maybe easier to write which they are?
These are PRM units (Bold) so will be the last ones to go.These are the ones I still need of which I'm not sure what's in service or stored 321301/313/321/324/334/343/428/443/902/903

Ah ok many thanks for that. Do you know what ones are in the line stored at Harwich? as a friend of mine is after a few but not sure on the specific numbers. These are PRM units (Bold) so will be the last ones to go.
The orange ones are non-PRM so will go for the scrappy first.
334 is in the process of a parcels conversion.
The other non-PRM ones are still about as far as I know.
321443 was hauled to Gascoigne Wood yesterday. These are the ones I still need of which I'm not sure what's in service or stored 321301/313/321/324/334/343/428/443/902/903

Ask you friend for the specific numbers he needs. I don't think there are many now as a few recently came out of store there and are/were in serviceAh ok many thanks for that. 332, 427 and 448 are the ones he is after if you can help at all.Ask you friend for the specific numbers he needs. I don't think there are many now as a few recently came out of store there and are/were in service
Units 301-330 are refurbished Renatus units so will be service for a while. 322.481-485 and 321.901-903 are all PRM-compliant and are in service
Units I'm not sure are in service are 331 (not at Harwich), 343, 402, 403, 408, 409, 410, 423, 431, 437, 441, 445, 447 (all Harwich?)
428, 321.901-903 I've definately seen in service
448 is stored at Lackenby (well, 3/4 of it is anyway). The motor coach has, IIRC, been cut up.332, 427 and 448 are the ones he is after if you can help at all.
Many thanks
Oliver

As mentioned above 448 will never run again
According to internal messaging all those that were originally planned to be scrapped have now been sent away.I'm guessing there is no scrap move tomorrow?
403 has been converted to a 320 I think.Ask you friend for the specific numbers he needs. I don't think there are many now as a few recently came out of store there and are/were in service

Am I right in thinking that all of the ones that have already gone for scrap were those in the worst conditions?According to internal messaging all those that were originally planned to be scrapped have now been sent away.
The rest are expected to be converted for further use.
I've just boarded 321427+322484+322481 at Shenfield heading up from Colchester Town. 12 car with DC motors throughout.403 has been converted to a 320 I think.
I think 409 and 423 are still in service, not sure.

Hey I saw that train at platform four, Colchester on a bus!I've just boarded 321427+322484+322481 at Shenfield heading up from Colchester Town. 12 car with DC motors throughout.
Which unit did you board?I've just boarded 321427+322484+322481 at Shenfield heading up from Colchester Town. 12 car with DC motors throughout.
perhaps the fact they’re non PRM compliant and made redundant by the 720 roll out...?For what reason is 443 and 439 being stored for?
According to my information, 343 and 423 are stored at Southend; 331 and 402 at Clacton; 408, 410 and 431 at Parkeston; 409, 441 and 447 at Colchester (seen last Monday next to the station, with stored 340 in the carriage sidings. All had raised pans) and 437 is long gone and being converted as part of the hydrogen project. Thanks to the 720s blocking the view, those at Parkeston were very hard to see and only visible in the far distance from a train travelling in the Up direction, i.e. towards Manningtree. I'm reliably informed that 408 + 410 + 444 were due to have left Parkeston yesterday for Colchester (410) and Clacton (408 + 444) but I don't know if that actually happened. 5F00 on RTT infers that the trio reached Colchester but went no further.Ask you friend for the specific numbers he needs. i have seen (and ridden on) 321901/2/3 in service in the last couple of weeks. They and the 322s are less compliant because none of them have the UAT working...Ask you friend for the specific numbers he needs. I don't think there are many now as a few recently came out of store there and are/were in service
