Would anybody be able to give a rough idea of what the 313s will be up to on Sunday 14 May? Not expecting anything special, but with the closure between Three Bridges and Horsham I'm wondering if there might be a few things switched around.

All Brighton - Seaford services and Littlehampton - Bognor Shuttles

Unless there's football on at the Amex, I would expect 3 units on Brighton - Seafords and (maybe) 1 unit on Bognor - Littlehampton shuttles. I'm not really ofay with services on the West Coastway on Sundays

313208 was clearly planned for the tour as there is a short history of it and 201's Southern career at the end of the tour book. Such a shame as it is miles better than 213; mind you, I'm on 201 so no complaints!

Fantastic day so far, this. Beautiful weather here at Littlehampton and an excellent turn-out of enthusiasts on and off the train.

313204, 207, 211 and 220 are on the Littlehampton-Bognor-Portsmouth stoppers today.

The match has been moved to the Sunday instead now, so the normal 313 Saturday diagrams stand more or less. There is some very minor amendments at the end of the day to get units in suitable locations for finish.
That's really kind of the football teams to move the match to Sunday so that it is not on the same day as the 313 finale.

Speculative thoughts now from another thread is where the 313's will be stored from 21st May before the scrap moves start. Assuming they will be towed from Lover's I would have thought maybe Hove Yard?
Maybe the sidings near West Worthing, not so much of an issue if the local kids decide to break out the paint cans

I had thought that but I don't think they've ever been used since the shed was demolished, apart from a short period when GN's new 717's were being stored

Would be an ideal location as they'll be well out the way and could probably fit the entire class

Somewhere in the Brighton area first, then Eastleigh. Note, the first 3 (202/214/217) are still in the condition they left Lovers Walk in at the moment, though partially stripped by Southern who were selling off some parts on the tour yesterday.

The ones that have been stripped needed towing but remember that it is possible that at least some could go to Eastleigh under their own power

West Worthing sidings were taken off everyone's licenses a couple of years back as they're now considered to be mothballed.

i know that the class 313 will be retired somewhere in May. But i heard that they will be gone on 21st May. Will all of the 313s be retired on that date or will they start getting less and less work from that day on? Or is it that as of i am typing this (1st May) that the Class 313 is already all gone or is it getting less work from now?

Saturday 20 May is the last day, full stop. They're already getting less work and some have already been withdrawn, but the nine-odd left should all stay in use until the 20th.

I think the withdrawals of the 313s will mean the oldest trains in regular normal service will be the 125s with ScotRail, and maybe Cross Country and GWR briefly.
