Yes, a hefty trek from the South East to visit a siding complex, but does seem to tick people's box for rarity.

Guessing that the train only has six or seven coaches, but not sure what the constraint is, perhaps the condition of the track on the entry headshunt.

EDIT - Eastriggs website says headshunt is 270 metres, so that still leaves room for a reasonable length train?

Yes it is a limited length train but I'm unsure how many coaches

The Blackpool tour is on the diary dates bit,for the 9th November it now states Blackpool with "heritage" traction with a pennines mini tour, so you would assume a t&t from Euston?? With whatever does the ECS 57?? Do a out and back to reverse the stock
Also showing 15th March next year 20s to whitby with something different on the tail for the Battersby reversal

I've heard a rumour of 47s on the Blackpool tour.

I believe so. A straight no-frills 'out-and-back' tour for the Illuminations.

Unless they do something a bit more unusual and starting it somewhere on the ECML (i.e. Peterborough) running on the ECML to Finsbury Park before picking up the WCML going via whatever Khan wants to call the North London Line this week to open it up to customers whom live in those areas.

Although until the details get uploaded and the tour opens for bookings it could be anything.

If there's anyone who fancies 73119/128 on the bluebell tour tomorrow be advised to save everyones time the only fare available after Finsbury park is the full return fare even if you're only going one way, shed is 792

Thanks for confirming. Saves me the drive to East Sussex. I caught them at Bognor in August, on the ex-Tonbridge route learning trip (with, oddly, 8 bogie box wagons between 'em). 128 looks splendid in its NSE garb.

The tour that was supposed to run on the 26th October has been put back to January due to capacity on the single line North of Ipswich
