Not West Byfleet. That has a side platform on the up slow, and an island between the fast and slow down lines with both sides in use (though the down fast doesn't get too many calls AIUI).There are also the central island platforms that are sealed off along the SWML along the 'paired by direction' section:

What’s changed since the 1990s?Anyone mentuined Llandudno?
Pangbourne lost its mainline platforms.
When were the former fast line platforms at Pangbourne closed/removed?
So noted. Is removal of platforms in the 1970s in scope for the purposes of this thread, (otherwise I might then have gone with Carnforth which lost its WCML platforms in May 1970)?!I believe in the 1970s to allow 125mph running.
Indeed, means that trains can't then call at Pangbourne!Bit of a problem if the slow lines close for engineering work
I have alighted on the up fast at Pangbourne station! So noted. Is removal of platforms in the 1970s in scope for the purposes of this thread, (otherwise I might then have gone with Carnforth which lost its WCML platforms in May 1970)?!

.........and 8. Renumbering the remainder as 1 to 5 awaited resignalling - but I still get confused by the fact the platform by the entrance is now No 3 and not No 5, as it always used to beLincoln lost original platforms 1 & 2.
I have used the island platform at Esher, when two trains made special stops there to allow passengers to cross over (from down to up) to get to Surbiton, as our down train could not stop at Surbiton because platform 3 was closed because of an incident.New Malden platform is actually still 'open' for use and a couple of times a year it will be used to detrain during an incident. The other stations either have no platform at all or are not certified for passenger use.
Also Gloucester Road (only 3 of 4 remain) and, much more recently, Mansion House (bay platform closed as too short for S7 stock)South Kensington (District), only two of five remain.
Still commissioned for use and have 2024TS stopping markers.Further back, Stamford Brook and Ravenscourt Park have disused platforms on the Piccadilly Line tracks (westbound only at Stamford Brook)
Some of those mentioned lost platforms over 100 years ago...!Norwood Junction? Blackfriars, Cannon Street, Clapham Junction, Battersea Park, Wandsworth Road, Clapham High Street, Brixton, Loughborough Junction, Crystal Palace - I'll stop now!

I was waiting for Oban!Milngavie, Helensburgh Central, Oban. Not sure about Coatbridge Central.
Also Platform 3 (Bay) at Liverpool Street (Met), though that may have been taken out of use in the 80s.Also Gloucester Road (only 3 of 4 remain) and, much more recently, Mansion House (bay platform closed as too short for S7 stock)
Much earlier than the 1990s(Loosely) applying the 1990s criterion, a few Scottish examples:
Craigendoran lost the pier platforms (SINGULAR) and subsequently one in the 1980s singling - I think Helensburgh Central lost one then as well
Helensburgh Upper lost one when the signal box closed
