15381-15383 & 16806,16807 are due to leave Stagecoach tomorrow for Metroline.
Great to see that the MMCs are finally moving over! Will B9s be relegated onto the free bus until the final ones go once all the Scanias are withdrawn?5 of Oldham’s 20 plate MMC’s have tonight transferred to Queens road, with 3 Scania’s withdrawn and expected to move over to Metroline over the weekend.
The MMC’s are not expected to see service until Sunday when the PVR will increase by 2 because of additional boards on the Freebus.
It’s expected a handful of B9’s May go at some point next week to allow Metroline to begin training on the new vehicle types.
The big move is on!!
They’re not all existing EVs “spare3” is 80093This morning I have noticed a lot of spare ticket machines which have been put on some of the existing electric buses at Oldham which one of them is 84248

I would imagine with the PVR increase on the freebus there will be a swing to MMC’s being used.Great to see that the MMCs are finally moving over! Will B9s be relegated onto the free bus until the final ones go once all the Scanias are withdrawn?
They will after all become the default vehicle for any decker work soon enoughI would imagine with the PVR increase on the freebus there will be a swing to MMC’s being used.
Tracking in error most likely because last time I looked it was tracking on a 14:29 service to bury at 10am and wasn’t even on the 163 routeIf Bustimes is to be believed, Go North West's first Wright StreetDeck ElectroLiner (2101) has entered service on the 163. Can anyone confirm?
I did wonder, hence checking - thanks for confirming.Tracking in error most likely because last time I looked it was tracking on a 14:29 service to bury at 10am and wasn’t even on the 163 route
They were just setting up the ticket machine! If Bustimes is to be believed, Go North West's first Wright StreetDeck ElectroLiner (2101) has entered service on the 163. Can anyone confirm?
Nope, not even that as it doesn't even have a base yet... Both 2101 and 2102 are still sat at the top of the yard and haven't been touched all day. Must be a driver error. They were just setting up the ticket machine!
Some short term engineering challenges anticipated with that fleet!107 E400Hs, a mixture of transfers and loans. Not all buses are currently in Manchester and quite a lot are not currently at the depot they will be under Metroline.
Also to transfer are
52 B9TLs.
20 Scania Omnicity.
23 B5LH.
32 BYDs.

I agree and the newer electroliners have proper next stop announcementsWhat routes are the gnw electroliners for? I want them to be the number 8 because the ex Diamond ones are unreliable and they can't have that on such a key route
What do you mean proper? The thing I can’t understand is on the existing ex Diamond now Go North West Streetdecks that on vehicles that have the next stop announcements and screens working, where does the actual announcement sound come from? There is no speakers on the roof panels as far as I can see. Can someone answer this it would be appreciatedThey probably will get them

They're purely to cover late delivery of newer vehicles, not long term.Won't they already be pretty much at the 15 year old limit by the time they enter service?
No I am saying that the newer 74 reg electroliners are going to be more reliable than the older onesI meant the 17, 19, 20 & 21 plate streetdecks with Go North West
Yeah I understood that when you sent that but I want to know about the ex Diamond Streetdecks which did not previously have speakers or screens but it seems as if the screens have only been fitted so where does the sound come from?No I am saying that the newer 74 reg electroliners are going to be more reliable than the older ones

They are owned by TFGM so whichever depot they end up at will have dispensation on compliance.Won't they already be pretty much at the 15 year old limit by the time they enter service?
