Dublin are allegedly getting the former Jurassic Coaster branded Enviro 400MMCs from Weymouth and the former Airport Cities to replace the Jurassics at Weymouth.
Thanks for the update. Last I heard the E400MMCs were a temporary measure until the E400City’s could be released due to ongoing shortages at Glasgow then they would go to Dublin and the E400MMCs would return back to Weymouth. Does seem odd for 10 year old buses to do airport duties over other buses which are already airport spec.

It's a shame we're losing those City's given the current situation. Speaking of that, it seems that all the 200EVs which were deemed fine are back already, whereas the ones that aren't back are going to be away for a long while.

Also been thinking about the Bradford Urbans - they were withdrawn from FBRA service before they got sent up, so what happens when FGLA eventually return them? Will FBRA just use them again until they run out of MOT?

ALL First Glasgow services to be suspended between 8am and 6pm tomorrow due to the red weather warning for wind across the central belt.

In light of the red weather warning in place across Greater Glasgow, and advice from Police Scotland we will be temporarily suspending all services from 8am tomorrow.
Services will not resume before 6pm, pending the status of the weather warning and we will continually assess the safety of our routes before these are reinstated.
Following guidance, we encourage all passengers not to travel on Friday 24th January. These measures have been implemented with the safety of our people, and passengers in mind.
Our website will be updated as information is available, and our Twitter/X Feed will also display updates as the situation evolves.

Are the three E200s that are coming up from other First depots staying with Glasgow (since their sister buses already work in Glasgow)? Or are they just cover?

Numbers are 44455-57 BTW.

I reckon its the X4? The 77 was a new route.
I was dubious of the X4 at first but it seems to have stood the test of time and whenever I see it flying up the express way it seems to carry good numbers.

38600 is now tracking on bus times

All Caledonia loanees are now tracking on bustimes. A couple of Blantyre ones too.

It looks like 38400 is away now as it hasn't been out for a while, but no official confirmation yet. And 70101 hasn't been out for a few days either.

It seems that the purposes for loans have been more or less decided. The B7RLE's are bound to the 19 and 34 unless needed elsewhere, 33693 has done the 5 exclusively since it came up (a shame if that's all it's allowed to do) and 38600 is being treated the same as the native leccys, can go anywhere but preferably not routes that use the motorway.

As for these Cymru E200s, no idea what's happening with them.

Is 64108 back in service or is that a tracking error?

The new E400EVs can do over 50mph so they would be fine to go on the motorway

I also see lots of the EVs on the X85/X87 and X3 both singles and doubles.
Hence why I said "preferably," they're permitted to go out on motorway routes but the diesel fleet is prioritised due to the poor top speed of the leccys, glad to hear the new demonstrator is somewhat faster though.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Cymru E200s end up at Overtown and in return lose more E200MMCs (68 plate examples) this time.

33693 does not appear to have a hopper, so that may be why its use is restricted.

Any news of service changes over next couple months
Here you go

First Bus to improve reliability of services in Dumbarton, Balloch and Helensburgh

First Bus has unveiled a series of changes to its Dumbarton routes aimed at improving service punctuality and enhancing local connections. As part of these changes, additional routes will be introduced to better serve Balloch and Helensburgh, ensuring more reliable travel options for passengers.
From Sunday 2nd March, First Bus Service 1/A will now operate an improved frequency between Dumbarton town centre and Glasgow. New 204/205 local routes will be introduced to serve Balloch, replacing the Service 1/A sections of the current route to ensure more reliable connections and more streamlined coverage for our customers. Finally, Service 206 will extend from Westcliff to serve Helensburgh, replacing the current Service 1B.
Passengers who currently travel from Glasgow to Balloch or Helensburgh using current Service 1, 1A or 1B will need to change bus in Dumbarton town centre to a 204/205 or 206 to reach their destination.
Service 1E will continue to operate between Balloch and Glasgow and will now travel directly between Clydebank and Yoker via Glasgow Road.
Service M11 will be renamed as Service 11 and will cover the Mountblow to Gartnavel Hospital route via Clydebank, replacing Service 1D.
Chris Coleman, Head of Network for First Bus in Glasgow, said: “We have been working hard to create a bus network that suits the needs of our customers, and we believe these changes to Service 1 alongside the introduction of the additional services will create a reliable and more convenient service for our customers in Dumbarton, Balloch and Helensburgh.
“The introduction of the 204/205 to serve Balloch and the extension of the 206 to Helensburgh will create better local connections in the area while also improving the experience for our customers.”
First Bus will be working hard to update customer information, including bus stops, as quickly as possible with the new timetable information, but it encourages everyone to use the First Bus app for the most up-to-date timetable and live bus tracking information.

Heard service 1c will swop from dumbarton depot to scotstown, so will probibly get deckers back on the 1c route
Thats happening

Certainly makes it easier to electrify the route. I thought they might need to split that route eventually.
Makes it easier to palm off Dumbarton to McGills. The Dumbarton local stuff kept separate from the lucrative 1/1A and the 1C/11 being run from Scotstoun palm that off as a quick sale to McGills, wise move and likely the reason behind it to try and get a sale of Dumbarton
