one was on the 19 this evening, now back at depot, the next stop displays are not working which i believe a breach of the PSV Accessible Information Regulations 2023, don't tell the transport commissioner!

There are only 2 Citaros left in service 11106/13, which will last until next week, assuming that they do not pick up a defect. Most of the Citaros are sold, so they may not be around the depot for long.

Two of the withdrawn Citaros (11108/14) are leaving today, probably the ones for Orkney as the cruise season starts in a few days.

There are now at least 8 Electroliners in service 36654-61 in consequence 33915 should be leaving for Glasgow soon.

Maybe I'm getting muddled, but I thought the Citaros were owned or at least managed by First, and that all the buses on Orkney were either Highland Council- or Stagecoach-managed?

They have been sold to I think they are called Orkney Transport now who operate the cruise ship contract on Orkney.
------

Some of the hydrogen buses are being partially fuelled by tanker as the first stage of getting them ready for service ahead of the permanent fuelling system being installed at the depot. A lot will need MOTs before they can return to service. It looks to be mostly the blue ones that were being used before the Kittybrewster facility closed (most of 39717-23) and the older ones Wrightbus had been working on to return to service but never got MOTs - 39712/3 among them. Other ones I saw being refuelled were 39709/14 plus an unbranded one.

Orkney Transport are the current purveyors of bendy buses on cruise work. They have the former Doig's Scania amongst other Citaros. Formerly known as Poke t/a J&V Coaches.

11109 was seen on tow near Forfar heading south. They had been taking parts off it so presumably for scrap.

Could that have been a Wigleys towing vehicle that took 11108? Sorry should be 11109.

Despite what was said, 11106 is not out today, so yesterday looks like the final day for it and bendy buses in Aberdeen.

I am no bus expert at all...but noticed this thread a few days ago.

My wife seen 2 red TFL double decker buses driving North through Dundee today... presumably heading to Aberdeen to get new livery?

On range testing from ADL in Falkirk. All electric vehicles must do 500 miles fault free before delivery. You will see a lot of different vehicles in future doing the trip to Aberdeen and back

Is this also why I saw a Bee Network liveried bus yesterday between Perth & Dundee heading north?

11106/13 are now ready to be collected by their purchaser having had their First equipment removed.
