Does anyone have a idea of when the new campaign for 2025 will come out it’s almost been a year since the last one
Yes, I seem to remember you told us it was going to happen in January 2025 and when that didn't happen you said it was June (and you'd spoken to TfL who confirmed it.)

Do you think it won't be June now?

Don’t be discouraged. I first applied when I was 20 and I failed at the role play stage. I then tried again the following year and now I began a wonderful career with TFL beginning of this year.

Don’t be disheartened. Many people begin their journeys at different times and paces. If you have your mind set or something, for sure it will be bound to happen.

You can private message me if you have any questions about working on the underground etc.
hi i cant seem to private message you, i cant find the area to do it on your profile

The training is good. I wouldn't say it's difficult, a lot of it is common sense. Sometimes if you stop and actually think about the scenario being talked about or the question, you will come up with the answer by yourself.
One tip I can give you, you will learn alot of acronyms while in training, so be prepared!
Thank you :)

I start my training for CSA2 on 9th June. I've received my contract this week, along with an 'offer letter' both of which had to be signed and sent back via email. The offer letter outlines the Staff 'Oyster' Travel pass which is only valid for Zones 1-6.

I think the staff pass may have been scaled back from the answers I received last year (about it being valid from Watford Junction/ Amersham depending on the line I choose to travel on).

We also get 75% discount off an Annual Season Ticket with National Rail to help us get to work.

Do we get the Staff Travel Pass on the first day of training?

I am trying to workout organising a Weekly Season Ticket to get to Zone 5 Harrow & Wealdstone (which has no discount) just for the training period. Then sort out the Annual Season Ticket once I know my station(s).

There are no changes to the Staff Pass. It remains valid on all TfL-operated services and certain National Rail services. It is not valid unilaterally in zones 1-6.

Harrow & Wealdstone is included for both LU, LO and NR services to Euston, so no need for a season.

Yes, you should get it on the first day after your induction.

Thank you, I am a tad confused as my offer letter states:
"You will benefit from:
• Travel Concessions - privilege oyster card covering zones 1-6 (covering London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, Tramlink and London’s bus services displaying a red roundel) for you and a nominee.

• 75% reimbursement of annual season ticket loans if you use national rail services to travel to and from work."

Staff Travel Pass is not mentioned at all.

I live in Berkhamsted so will have to pay to Watford / Harrow & Weald - depending on which is true for the details pertaining to myself.

The offer letter is a simplification - you’ll receive a Staff Oyster card on day one.

You’re also in luck travelling from Berkhamsted, as the pass is valid as far as Watford Junction on all NR services - indeed I’m getting a distinct feeling of deja vu as I know we’ve had this discussion on this thread recently.

You will have to apply separately for a Staff Nominee pass (same validity) and a priv rate season/loan.

Thank goodness for this forum to be able to clarify things! It would be so much better if we were given the full info by them.
I already sent my nominee form in with mine, when I got the conditional email and all the documents to fill in last August.
I shall email TFL Recruitment to ask for the priv rate season/loan - as that wasn't included in the 'pack'.

You won’t be able to get details of the season until you start (again, as has been explained on this very thread before) as it requires manager approval.

Similarly nominee passes are generally sent out separately, even if the forms are done now.

Not sure when you all applied, but current salaries (at 1st April 2024) are:

CSA1 £44,140
(Overtime rate is £30.2191 per hour)

CSA2 £35,270
(Overtime rate is £24.1465 per hour)

Trainee rate is 80% of full time.

The 2025 pay claim is already in and I believe the 1st meeting is arranged for end of this month - with any pay award being backdated to April 2025.
V helpful. I applied for the night tube position last year, and the advertised salary was £18,041. Since it's been nearly a year, I wanted to check if there have been any updates or changes to the salary figure. Could you please let me know the current salary details?

There will have been changes and I presume it's worked out as a percentage of the CSA1 full time rate, but the internal pay document LU issues is silent on the Night Tube CSA rate, so can't confidently answer that I'm afraid.

Hopefully there is a NT CSA in here who will know, or failing that, you could phone up the recruitment line and ask for the latest figure.

Current full time CSA2 salary is 35270£ but their confirmation email does not reflect this change. Hopefully it's just something they forgot to update and will be correct along the way .

I received the same email, I’m sure they haven’t updated it and our salary will reflect the new one

I called up yesterday and was told it’s a possible next year start date for September ect. But I reckon she just said it so people stop calling back for a start date.

I got my offer on 21st August so shouldn’t be too long for September. Especially if they look to start a new campaign at some point this year

Hi, I start next Monday 9th June but have had no extra info - just the contract and offer letter so far.
However a lot of their emails get to me after 1pm - so it's a waiting game. Otherwise I believe we just turn up at Ashfield House before 9am with our passport IDs...

Hey what date in September did you get the offer? I’m September 4th and was told it could be September/October to start but of course this might have changed.
