Lineside problem in the Northallerton area, can anyone shed some light? At Newcastle trying to get to Leeds but my TPE is being delayed.

My train will be departing in two minutes and will be taking a diversionary route while calling all scheduled stops, not sure where we're going!

Just seen your train passing through Chester-Le-Street, so at last you are moving!

We are!

Just left Darlington and taken the Saltburn line. Can we still call at Northallerton this way?
Yes.

I'm assuming you'll go to Eaglescliff and back out again via Yarm, which lets you rejoin the ECML just north of Northallerton.

Indeed, we have just stopped at Eaglescliffe. I thought that was the case but the platform boards at Darlington omitted Northallerton.

slight doubt as train "broken down" might stop trains rejoining mainline before Northallerton meaning they will pass under main and rejoin south of Northallerton

On a train...somewhere!
1E13 caped at York nearly 3hrs late! Fault occurred between DAR and NTR and problems continued, losing time to York. Assumed set has been recovered to Craigy as it was a HST

Think my train overtook this, was wondering what an East Coast HST was doing on the slow.

Seems to be another problem now, perhaps in the Grantham area by the looks of it?

43302 and 43314 were the power cars rostered today on 1E13 07:55 Inverness to Kings Cross.

However I've dispatched the pair of them 25 minutes ago and there was no smoke damage viewable from the platform so I guess a set swap took place using another pair of powercars on the working instead of the rostered power cars in TRUST.

A set swap then took place as 43290 certainly wasn't the booked power car in TRUST to work that working.

43302 has/had a problem meaning it has/had to stay on low mileage diagrams, so that could be why

Fires in MTUs are hardly a new thing, could well be totally unrelated to Eureka. I know FGW had a couple when they were first introduced.
