Nothing germane. I was amending my post to reference dictatorships after you corrected me as to what you were talking about (my bad, by the way).
Fascism is highly ideological. Now whether or not it's left-wing or right-wing is debatable, but there are certainly large far-right elements present, which are developed and disseminated through ideology (and by extension propaganda). Your point that "right-wing dictatorships are less ideological than left-wing ones" doesn't really hold much water.
And your point that "there were both left- and right-wing dictatorships. There aren't any other forms." is obviously false, being as left/right isn't the be-all and end-all of political ideology. Libya under Gaddafi wasn't particularly right or left, as it happens. (Okay, it had 'socialist' in its name, but it wasn't particularly socialist in the Western, left-wing meaning of the word.)
