    Class 175 future speculation

Yes, it was more me joking as I mentioned 1st class which would require new seating and layout being fitted to the 175s.

Ah yes the /0 being a first class and quiet coach and all the loud people / groups all in the /1

    Class 175 future speculation

I don't see that being viable given that units would be needed to work on Okehampton ect and a 3 car would only have 1 standard class non quiet coach then. But I hope so.

Yes more comfortable, however as someone who frequently reads or works while travelling I do appreciate the quiet coach on the iet.

There has been no confirmation they will, with many comments saying they'll be retired as c6 overhauls are required and that porterbrook will not fund it.

    EMR Class 170 updates

Yes, I regularly travel by train for visits to see family, friends occasionally though on my way to scouting conferences ect. When travelling I regularly am working in some capacity and the ability to use the WiFi and for it to be strong and stable is essential.

They know more than we think, they for instance know the standard plus is being "tested" and will be rolled out soon.

I also personally prefer the seats, the leg room is perfectly fine, all seats have a pug and usb as well which is important for if you travel alot, ( I always try get trains with higher plug provision when travelling so all devices are charged).
