Rule book module TW 5 Section 15 (15.7)
My traction has built in HABD. If this activates, it mentions in 15.7 -
unless a rolling stock technician is immediately available, examine the axle box concerned to check whether it is overheated.
Do we then need to apply 15.4 - checking for evidence...
Thats great to hear thanks for that.

I applied for the driver role position at Leeds. Online at DB the application status has changed to - Process?
Anyone have an idea what this means and has anyone else applied that has this status or heard back?
Thanks
Makes perfect sense now. I will continue to go over it until it sinks in

Sorry, another question please regarding 12.2
you can continue if a single unit if line light has gone out but ADD hasn’t activated? Why can’t we coast with ADD activated but we can with more than one pantograph?
Hi,
Thanks for the explanation. I would like to discuss 12.1 B first. It mentions an exception- if there is more than one pantograph. This leads me to believe we don’t have to drop the pan and stop?
*** EDIT ***
currently looking at the new AC module 2020/21
I’m having difficulty in understanding Section 12.1 B and C and also 12.2 and how to apply these rules.
I work EMU single 3 and 4 cars and multiple units 6 and 8 cars.
Is there any easy way anyone has come up with to simplify these...
I certainly see this is the start for many more companies that will sure follow in the near future - ScotRail? Government and the public see Train Drivers are overpaid button pushers and have gotten away with Pay rises since privatisation!! Certainly kiss your 4% pay rises every year once you go...
The first TOC to hand over the keys back to the Government. Is this a good or bad thing? What will happen now with pay deals?
