Following a quick look at this thread on Liverpool Central, I was wondering how many rail stations have exits and entrances which go directly into commercial properties? I'm not thinking of pubs and shops which are part of the station's buildings, rather, entrances and exits which go straight into businesses which are fully independent of the rail network?

I can think of several light-rail services which have stations like this, but fewer National Rail stations.

I'll offer Manchester Airport and Stratford International to start with!

Does the Frenchgate exit from Doncaster take you straight into the shopping centre?

London Underground: Hammersmith (District & Piccadilly) / Fulham Broadway / Canary Wharf all have exits to a shopping centre.
Chafford Hundred has a footbridge directly leading to Lakeside Shopping Centre.

Birmingham New St had an exit directly into the old Pallasades. Not sure what has happened since the revamp?

At Walsall the ticket office is directly accessible from the Saddler Centre.

Bond St underground has an entrance/exit into a small shopping centre I seem to recall.

Leeds City has an entrance from the north concourse directly into the Queens Hotel, though I've never used it (and I have stayed there once).

From Bradford Interchange train station one can go straight to Bradford Interchange bus station.

Aberdeen now has an exit into the Union Square shopping centre, which in turn links to the bus station and the ferry terminal.

Windsor & Eton Central opens up into a shopping arcade built on the old platforms.

Stratford International doesn't directly connect with anything. OK Westfield is close but you have to leave the station and cross International square to get there.

British Steel Redcar and Sinfin North, agree on Walsall and what about MetroCenter?

Lympstone Commando? OK not commercial but you cannot, officially at least, exit anywhere but the base

Between the parallel lines
Gatwick Airport station is accessed via the South Terminal of the airport itself.

One entrance of Dorking West basically leads straight onto the driveway of a scrapyard.

Starcross has direct access to the local ferry to Exmouth via a path from one of the platforms.

St Pancras has exits all over the place, and one must often walk past what essentially are a couple of parades of shops to easily get to certain areas (for example, the Eurostar platforms).

London Victoria has a shopping centre on top which is directly accessible from the main Southern concourse by means of escalators.

Lots of temporary passageways, linking with the remnants of the Pallasades (e.g. the Tesco Express), the exit where Woolworths used to be, and the Bullring link by TK Maxx.

I think it's Stratford regional that has a more direct route into Westfield, at the north end of one of the subways.

Does Fishguard Harbour count? The station basically exists to provide access to the ferry terminal - though is that "fully independent of the rail network"?

From Manchester Victoria you can* access Manchester Arena and from Liverpool James Street you can access India house.

*At least you could prior to redevelopment and will be able to once again post development although I can't be sure what the current status is.

That is correct, however if we were being pedantic it still doesn't lead you directly into Westfield, you end up just outside the entrance! :P

Crawley Station has an exit to the Arora Hotel via a digi-lock gate on platform 2.

I guess you get the code for the gate when you make a booking.
