Three people have died after being hit by a train at a station in south London, British Transport Police have confirmed.
Officers were called to Loughborough Junction station, near Brixton, shortly after 7.30am this morning after reports of multiple bodies being found on the track.
This seems very strange, several trains ran through this morning.
Declared by whom?Evening Standard and RTÉ reporting that a major incident has been declared.
No delay reports at all showing in the area. This seems very strange, several trains ran through this morning.
Media reports that the three killed at Loughborough Junction were hit by a rush hour train are incorrect, I understand.
I'm looking using Denmark Hill as a guide and there have been no major delays all morning ?
I'm on genius mobile so maybe RTT has gone awry yes.Might just be me jumping to conclusions then. RealTimeTrains are saying that they are receiving limited real time data, so lots of trains aren't reported at Denmark Hill (or anywhere on the service), but then there are also a few services which have been officially cancelled.

Tv speculating they may be graffiti artists

Seems an odd time to be graffiting, 10:30am. Thoughts with the driver involved as wellI believe there were some carrier bags found near by that contained spray paint...whether this is related I cant say.
It's believed to have happened around 5am.Seems an odd time to be graffiting, 10:30am. Thoughts with the driver involved as well

At the location the ex LCDR Catford Loop (the one involved), the ex LBSCR Atlantic Lines, and the Brixton Spur are on separate viaducts and at different levels. Blocking the line between Canterbury Road and Cambria Junctions would have minimal effect on traffic.Cheers, would explain the lack of service updates. Bit odd that they're running things past the incident site though, especially if it is suspicious? Would have thought that they would want to stop traffic for a period of time to do some investigations at the least?
Without wishing to be insensitive, what are the chances of a train hitting three people and the driver not noticing?
