I have the full reports and pictures, certainly not air filters or cleaning them.

Whatever the problem was, it's heartening that decisive action was taken, resulting in better service provision today.

Caught the 0936 Paddington to Cheltenham between Gloucester and Cheltenham this morning, and was hoping it would have been my first time on a 800/3, but sadly was a HST (43087+43139).

It might well be its last day of HST today. RTT shows the empty working to Stoke Gifford from Monday. I think it is one of the 9 car diagrams which starts on Monday from North Pole.

What a small world, I was on that train from Swindon to Cheltenham! The only difference is that I wanted it to be an HST .

Despite being one of the last areas to see the 800s, Cheltenham trains will most likely be invaded by 800s by August. They don’t require heavy amounts of units and its reported most staff are trained, expect it to be a sudden rare site to see a HST!

800 307 is on the 11.15 Paddington to Swansea today.

800 306 looks like being the 13.36 Paddington to Cheltenham; 800 305 is at Cheltenham shortly and should be the 14.whatever it is back to Paddington.

14:36, just seen it at Stonehouse.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to check back through the thread for diagram details due to many posts of sightings cluttering it up.
I was wondering if we could refer back to the request in Post #838, please. In fact, I posted a sighting on the "Trains you've seen Working Thread" earlier

If it helps I "think" these are the current diagrams but the ongoing electrification works mean that there are many consecutive weeks of significant line closures on some part of the GW network that have a major impact on these so the reality is always somewhat different.

Ha Ha Great. No, but seriously, especially with so many queries relating to diagrams it is difficult to have to wade through lots of stuff not directly related to find diagram info.

As has been mentioned earlier though, what is the point of posting the WTT diagrams when the WTT does not apply? This has been the case particularly over the last 3 weeks during which the Severn Tunnel has been closed continuously, removing a significant number of trains on the Cardiff route, with the remainder diverted with extended journey times. Next week should be nearer to the WTT, but we will have another midweek Berks and Hants block which will have ramifications across the network.

Hello everyone. I understand nobody may know yet (I don't) but does anyone know which Sunday the Sunday morning London to Penzance via Bristol service goes to an IET? I'd be catching this train from Didcot Parkway to Liskeard.

Late August unless it slips further.

Right. Looks like I'll be making my first trip on an IET to the South West. If it's still a HST that's fine too - as long as the Sunday journeys on the outward and return run smoothly (the return via Reading) that's fine. What could possibly go wrong on a Sunday ? Hopefully not a lot that day!

What could go wrong on a Sunday ? Lots when week after week there are multiple cancellations due to shortage of drivers.
