They'll have them put on in time .11's priority for now though .
Idk if it's a good idea or not but they could keep the 9 carriage trains without them so they are distinguished from the 11 carriage units. Probably pointless idea but who knows

A bit of a pointless idea as you say as most passengers don't know or even care about the paint scheme as they don't even know much between different TOCs.
The amount of people that say "British Rail" still is unbelievable! or maybe it isn't.

I'll be interested to see if 390104 gets some sort of additional Alstom branding.

It might get Siemens/Alstom branding if the merger goes ahead!!

I wouldn't bother otherwise as Alstom have nothing much to shout about nowadays in the UK.

Do the latest re liveried units have a red Virgin sticker on the door windows or is it grey?

So the voyager was due out today? Has it left/ready to leave? I haven't had chance to see if the path has been put back in

The second path from Euston to Barton has left, could this be it or is this just a regular working?

That's a regular Sunday working.
I presume 221101 was going to be tagged on to get it to Barton for further checks before release to traffic.

Will have to keep an eye open!

Okay I found another path for Friday 5th October: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U54554/2018/10/05/advanced

Possibly forming the 2023 Euston - Wolverhampton: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/C72814/2018/10/05/advanced

If this is correct, my guess is that any checks they would've done at Barton are being done at Ilford so it can get straight into service.

Good find!
So if finished in time for Friday could work 2023 to Wolverhampton with booked set off 1B80 then 5D44 2244 Wolves to Barton.

Has anyone got any updates on the re-liveried Voyager? Still due out this evening?
At the moment, it looks hopeful as the path is still in the system. We'll have to see later this evening. I wonder if anybody will be able to take pictures of it at Euston?

Path from Ilford to Euston activated at 1544, so clearly not an automatic activation. Makes the chances of it running slightly more favourable...

221101s new livery makes it look like a different unit completely in that photo. I quite like the look, although a little sad looking!!
Better again next year when the full black front emerges with it's new lights.

Is the 2nd coach back white too because it looks reddish from the photo... it may be because of the danger aspect on the signal though

All coaches are white, with the same swoosh pattern on them at carriage ends. :)

On the positive side... it does make the front look wider compared to the old one.

On the realistic side, it looks like it was designed in MS Paint.
