They won’t be voting for him though.
They will in the early stages of the contest, to whittle it down to 2 contenders.
That is his difficulty. IF he gets onto the crusty old duffers Tory members ballot he will have a very good chance of winning. His problem, if private eye are to be believed, is his parliamentary colleagues don't like him
hence why I don't see michael gove or rory whatsisface standing much of a chance.Going by playground rules both of them would be getting a hiding/lunch money extorted on a fairly regular basis.
There are many of the candidates who know they cant win but just might hold the balance of power that they can trade for high cabinet office. That is why at least 80% of the people standing have declared an interest.
Oh and Gove isn't in it to win ( not that he would turn it down) but to stop Boris Johnson by splitting the vote.
trump can(mafia)
tinfoilery. Trump doesnt control the mafia. If what you say is true his threat us the us military machine not some two bit cooks!
Btw you are right Trump sees himself as a strong man and seems to be to be a modern day Mussolini and is I think consciously mimicking his gestures and poses ( see that chin jutting out he does on the stump)
