Have 450099 and 450118 both now come out of Bournemouth in their new colours then?
U.450099 was released from paintshop on 18/01 with U.450118 taking its place.

Does anyone know of proposed dates for this and the other blue one to go in for painting? Just curious to know when the last day of blue 450s is.Somewhat of a rare sight now. Pulled into Woking a couple of minutes ago.

If so, the idea has really lost it's originality by now I'd personally prefer to see it in the early SWT livery, but I suppose Stagecoach will own the rights to it.Apparently from what I'm hearing 455 is being repainted into BR blue? Is that correct or too early to tell?
I didn't know there was a 450.455...Apparently from what I'm hearing 455 is being repainted into BR blue? Is that correct or too early to tell?
NSE would be good. They must have spent longer in NSE livery than BR blue.If so, the idea has really lost it's originality by now I'd personally prefer to see it in the early SWT livery, but I suppose Stagecoach will own the rights to it.
Ah good, it looks like they've changed the shade of Yellow to a more warning panel yellow than the lemon yellow they started off with.
I think it's just the photo.Ah good, it looks like they've changed the shade of Yellow to a more warning panel yellow than the lemon yellow they started off with.
Just the way the lighting in the photo has captured it I’m afraid. It’s very much still lemon yellow in person - which looks great as well in my opinion.Ah good, it looks like they've changed the shade of Yellow to a more warning panel yellow than the lemon yellow they started off with.

Maybe the next time we see this unit, it won't be in red...Apparently from what I'm hearing 455 is being repainted into BR blue? Is that correct or too early to tell?

When did 450116 go in for repaint?
Is it still assumed the 2 vinyled Desiros will be properly painted next?
Amazing thanks.Yes that is correct, U.450031 went into the paintshop on Tues 06/02 when U.450118 was released.
Hope that helps you.
I'm feeling my age . To me, "blue trains" were the all-over blue class 104 and 105 DMUs which, in the mid-1980s, I"d travel on from Bletchley to Bedford. No more “Blue trains,” as I called them growing up.
NSE would be almost impossible to make PRM compliant without making a complete mess of it. At least retro Blue & Grey still looks respectable when tweaked to make it compliantNSE would be good. They must have spent longer in NSE livery than BR blue.
NSE might work OK with pale grey doors.NSE would be almost impossible to make PRM compliant without making a complete mess of it. At least retro Blue & Grey still looks respectable when tweaked to make it compliant
