Has anyone else received any news?
Birmingham applicant, I've passed the video interview and they said they'd be in touch but not heard anything sinceHas anyone else received any news?
Yeah I'm in the same boat as you mate, received that email on 24/01Birmingham applicant, I've passed the video interview and they said they'd be in touch but not heard anything since
Thanks for the additional info. I have mine tomorrow and hope it’s only DFT I have to do.Shrewsbury applicant - Received a successful email today from Amiee to attend stage 1 assessments.
To clear up some previous questions from others, specifically those who say they’ve successfully completed Avanti testing last year (Me also) we’re still required to undertake WMTS Tea-Occ & DFFT according to Amiee.
Hi pal, how did it go?I applied at Crewe, did my video interview and got my assessment tommorow. Maybe your application hasn’t been looked through yet with the amount of people applying?
I think it went ok tbf, the opc fella was proper nice and explained everything properly. Obviously won’t know how it really went until we get the results in hopefully the next 7-10 daysThanks for the additional info. I have mine tomorrow and hope it’s only DFT I have to do.
Any update from those who have been already?
Hi pal, how did it go?
You’ll only have to do DFFT, and anything that does not meet WMT enhanced standard. For most, including mysef, only had to do DFFT. Was a gret relief coz I was thinking of pulling out if I had to do everything again.Anyone who’s been for assessments this week (preferably those who did tests previously with avanti) did you have to retake all the paper tests or just DFFT or some but not all? Any info would be appreciated. I put off my assessment centre due to not wanting to jeopardise my passes so was wondering whether I made the right decision. TIA
They do, some have heard, some haven’t. The first contact I had after the video interview was to book my assessment date. They will get round to you eventuallyDo they not tell you if you haven't passed, as I have not heard back about my video interview yet?
I'm same as you Mate. Still waiting to hear from interview. Did mine nearly interview 4 weeks agoDo they not tell you if you haven't passed, as I have not heard back about my video interview yet?
I can log in fine.Is anyone else having any issues logging into their transport uk account? Only wanted to see if my application was still showing "in consideration" or something along those lines. However can't gain access to it.
I’ve been told TEA-Occ & DFFT. I did question that however, as I successfully passed TEA-Occ for Avanti stage 1 last April. You’ll only have to do DFFT, and anything that does not meet WMT enhanced standard. Which is why it’s best to hear from the OPC assessors directly. The TOCs have no access to the system, according to the OPC guy, they just get informed you passed or failed (to their standards).I’ve been told TEA-Occ & DFFT. I did question that however, as I successfully passed TEA-Occ for Avanti stage 1 last April.
Technically not true, TOCs are the ones that ultimately choose if you sit specfic tests or all the tests again. They like the OPC have access to the National Database but unlike the OPC, they handle all the communications for you application. If the TOC themselves ended up saying you'll sit the DFTT and the Tea-OCC then that is what the TOC wants and could be down to them wanting a higher individual score on that test etc.Which is why it’s best to hear from the OPC assessors directly. I believe we’re saying the same thing. Maybe I should have said TOCs have access to see/ Read only, if I may say, and all they see is if you have passed to their standard or not. In my case I passed with a TOC that only requires national standard but obviously I met WMTs standard and only had to do DFFT. I only found out on assessment day, as I didn’t know beforehand if I had met their standard, hence the statement “hear from OPC direct”.Technically not true, TOCs are the ones that ultimately choose if you sit specfic tests or all the tests again. As said by many others, just because you may have passed a test for another TOC, isn't always a guarantee you've passed the same test for another TOC or that the said TOC will accept your current passes.
Somewhat but I'm only querying this part:I believe we’re saying the same thing. The TOCs have no access to the system
I went to the stage 1 last week. I too had passed last year with Avanti. The OCP assessor will check the system on the day, don't worry. If it's any help, I only had to do the DFFT as my Avanti passes stood for the others.I’ve been told TEA-Occ & DFFT. I did question that however, as I successfully passed TEA-Occ for Avanti stage 1 last April.
There is no enhanced on the MMI, it's only pass or fail and it yes affects your 2 Lives if you fail.Is the MMI a pass/or fail part of the testing does anybody know? Or can that also come under the category of being passed to an enhanced standard?
That's exactly what I thought! I appreciate you confirming this, thanks. There is no enhanced on the MMI, it's only pass or fail and it yes affects your 2 Lives if you fail.

Had anyone been informed about having to book on to their stage 2 assessments yet?
Been informed now that I am no longer straight through to DMI and that it was an error and I must complete the whole of stage 2 again. Bit of a shock tbh considering I've passed to enhanced with an foc, I know there are different variations but to have to do the whole of testing again and MMI I'm a bit baffled by. I'm hoping it's just a mistake so I'm just trying to clarify it all with recruitment.
Anyone else experienced this or anything similar?
Thanks I appreciate that mate.Sorry to hear, that is annoying! The guy who did my Stage 1 Assessment did go through the database to check them before starting
