TPE Scotland/Bolton/Manchester. How to stop commuters boarding?

I wouldn't bet on a court sharing that view. I'm quite confident that the criminality in both scenarios is the same.

TPE Scotland/Bolton/Manchester. How to stop commuters boarding?

Why is this different to getting on at Bolton and being asked to buy a new ticket from Preston to Manchester? (let's ignore someone actually going to Preston, that's very clearly a different matter)

TPE Scotland/Bolton/Manchester. How to stop commuters boarding?

It was very very profitable for FGW: they had a long train full of people they could charge the anytime day single for the journey (>£100, +administrative fees if they don't pay), and then charge them again for a ticket home. I'm confident it's not about saving seats for those going further...

Train skipped stop unannounced - last train of night - what *should* have happened?

No Anyone needs to be able to stop the train immediately if it starts with someone trapped in the doors / leaning against the side / etc

Road Sweeper/ Tram incident on Manchester Airport line

Looking at the pictures it's surprising that the tram's broken glass panels all remained in one piece. Were these replaced with laminated glass after the Croydon crash?

Hypothetical: Waiting too long in station drop off / pick-up zone

The BTP can require the keeper to name the driver, using the same process as is used for camera enforcement of red lights / speed limits

    Railways that are now roads

The line from Colnbrook to Staines is now the M25. Personally I think they should have left it there and just built a AHB

    Taxis

TfL extend this privilege to PHVs too! They have to have a roundel in a shield-shaped sticker in the windscreen, to allow enforcement cameras to identify them.
