BR Blue Class 31, Falklad Yard, 11 March 2012

Cheers Guys, It was definitely BR Blue, I don't know if it was a ballast train, it looked like ballast wagons from the quick glimpse I got. Will I get a chance to go and take some proper photos or will it be away by now as the line was open today? James

BR Blue Class 31, Falklad Yard, 11 March 2012

Hi there, Does anyone know why there was a BR Blue Class 31 sitting in Falkland Yard today, unfortunately, I didn't see the number of it as I was on the bus to Glasgow at the time but it looked like it was sitting at the head of a ballast train perhaps? The line between Ayr and Glasgow was...

    FlexiSemi-Flexi track

I use Peco flexible track on my layout, it seems to stay very clean because I very rarely have to give it a go with the track rubber and is easy to shape to what you need, it just needs well held down to stop it launching a loco off the board! :)

    TMD Layout help!

Well, thanks for all the replies guys, much appreciated! I have decided on my layout and got my base board cut to size at the weekend, and last night was working on my control panel. I just need to get the rest of my track and get it all laid down, after the board has been strengthened though.

    TMD Layout help!

Loving the Catenaries on "Dyserth Road", I had catenaries on my older layout, they were a sod to solder together, I made them out of old pieces of rail and strong wire. This is the adjusted layout plan, without the second siding at the front.
