First South West (Kernow & Buses of Somerset)

Yes Marc originally said on Twitter that E400s were being refurbished for the 21 so that must be those.

From what I understand Marc said in one of his tweets Somerset will be mainly E200/300/400s along with some SRs. I also wonder when they will start getting round to painting the E400s as well... 1661716242 It will continue into Autumn and from the end of October it will have a winter timetable.

I doubt that very much as the B9s have now finally started being branded up for the Land's End Coaster. Yes this looks to be an extension of the Exmoor Coaster for next year. I imagine the open back E200s will move onto a different Sunseeker elsewhere but we'll just have to wait and see on that...

First South West (Kernow & Buses of Somerset)

Marc Huws has now teased that 4 E400s are being converted to open top to allow the full Watchet to Ilfracombe route to become open top for next season. This will most likely be the 4 59 plates which were confirmed to become open top a few weeks back. This will make you wonder what the future...

Interestingly they appear in the forthcoming timetable changes. I agree, it is false advertising. I'm beginning to worry they're actually never going to appear on there.

The S1/S2 finish for winter early next month so maybe they will focus on getting it ready for open tops next season over the winter period...

In a way I do see where you're coming from. At least by the start of next season more things will be in place by then. I'm excited about what will come for Minehead as well!

Despite 32102-104 being painted and vinyled up for the Sunseeker services in Cornwall, I’m beginning to wonder if they will actually ever go on there and if the tree cutting team will sort out the issues currently preventing them from operating the appropriate routes…

They will be staying at Minehead and are due to have Exmoor vinyls in due course and I think the two open back E200s will also receive Exmoor Sunseeker vinyls as well. The vinyl man I heard a while back was recovering from a hospital operation so I think they have a bit of catching up to do.

I believe the SRs don't fit through those corners into Mousehole. Will have to wait and see what the new vehicles will be however.

It was originally said the rest of the Volvos would be spares then 32027, the unbranded Tridents and ex Seaford East Lancs being for sales purposes but 32719 will now be used for something in Minehead and 720 is donating it’s engine to one of the Exeter Tridents but Discover Exeter has stopped...

The FGW liveried 166s will be repainted as well.

    Railway Industrial Disputes Mk2

Nothing about that in the media. Generally they have to give 2 weeks notice.

    Railway Industrial Disputes Mk2

I think deep down at the moment, the Government want a fight unless the threat of mass strikes absolutely startle them...

I believe Marc commented elsewhere that the vinyl man was recovering from a hospital operation.
