Can anyone advise what unit type would normally operate the 1049 Lancaster to Leeds (1255)? I'm about to book it but don't fancy committing myself to 2 hours on a pacer.

[Its on a Friday if that makes any difference]

Booked 150 AFAIK, however this is Northern so anything can happen ;) Reports on here do seem to indicate about a 50/50 split between Pacers and 150s though.

Normally 144s or 150s on that line. At one time 144s were much more common but IIRC one of the services either forms or is formed from a Harrogate loop service, where 150s are on all the time.

Thanks. Nothing has changed from the 90s on this line then.

I think I'll avoid booking that ticket and go via Appleby.

When I've done the route recently it's been either 150 or one of the better Pacers with decent seating and three carriages.

I prefer it when it's a class 144 on this line apposed to a 150 as they have more comfy seating :D
