150280 from ATW is due to move to NXEA shortly in place of the top and tail 47 set which covering for 156417.
No further news at the moment.

ow great, ATW seem to be having a bit of problems with rolling stock and now we are loosing another 1 of our class 150's. Take a pacer instead
Is this becuase of the slightly fire damaged unit at Ipswich yesterday/this morning?
Nope. This was arranged before this mishap! This incident however really hasn't helped things! I'm not sure how bad the damage is.
Oh no! We wouldn't want to deprive other TOC's of the pacers! A 150 will do nicely.
Seems like a totally stupid idea to me, why give NXEA a 150 when they don't have any? FGW could take the 150, replace two 153s operating as a pair all day of the Falmouth line and give the two 153s to NXEA.

I certtainly agree, tell NXEA to go nick a 153 or something from FGW instead of taking our 150's lol
Fire-damaged? Didn't hear about this.
Which unit was fire damaged?

No...Go and nick one of ATWs or London Midlands 153s again!
If FGW took a 150 to replace the service booked on the Falmouth line for a pair of 153s the drop in capacity wouldn't be a problem. 153s are rather unsuited to the line due to there door layout, and a 150 has coped fine on the services before.
I thought the two 153's were used separately to make up the 30 minute frequency, in which case a 150 would only replace a single 153. This regularly happens anyway from my visits there!
An easier idea would just be to hire the drivers back who signed the 150/2's such as 217/229/219/255/235 which got sent to arriva and then problem solved!
According to an inside source approx 4 150's are sitting in Canton pretty much "in store" because of the no need for them at the minute now the summer period has gone.... we shall wait with bated breath!

The Anglia Drivers who signed the 150s may still be with NX but will have had them taken off their cards so no longer sign them. Or have I misunderstood what you're getting at?
Also, do Norwich crew's sign in the Sudbury branch? I'm just wondering if it will turn up on the Sudbury branch at all, or if it will just stick to the lines radiating out of Norwich and Ipswich. Hopefully it'll be in addition to the 47 loco-hauled set, NXEA are very stretched for DMU's at the moment.
