Is that the one loaned to GA, if it is still with them.
If it is true that they have loaned out a 158, they deserve to have the franchise removed. As they are using single coach units on ridiculously busy services and leaving people behind and are also having quite a number of cancelations due to train faults.
...especially if it's referring to the 158 that GA use in a morning. How could EMT possibly hope to use it elsewhere in that couple of hours when it'd otherwise be sitting idle in Norwich? So many things wrong with that comment...

156s occasionally go to Norwich or Liverpool due to short notice issues with the 158 fleet. It doesn't happen very often but it's not particularly unusual.
Better to run the train with something different than cancel it altogether.
What, even an Ex-Merseyrail Pacer?
It was indeed Friday. 156406 worked the first service from East Mids Parkway and then all the way through to Liverpool and back as far as Chesterfield, where the 158 worked forward to Norwich. Most likely due to stock displacement during the Nottingham blockade. There was indeed an EMT 156 in Norwich last week in place of a 158, I think it may well have been Friday.
Well 156415 made it to Norwich this morning attached to the booked 158. Thankfully for GA it will remain here for their use possibly til the end of the Nottingham blockade.
If this is true then this is wonderful news. I've just spotted it at CP and joked it would be nice if it stayed here.
Travelled between Nottingham and Picadilly 5 times return in the pas month( 10 journeys.) Reserved seats every journey for 5 of us. 8 JOURNEYS HAD NO RESEVATIONS. Excuses kept coming!!!
Was it you were given reservations with asterisks instead of seat numbers, people sat in your reserved seats or the reservation labels not put out?
There are always specific seat numbers on 158s. If the trains are delayed particularly at Liverpool they won't be put out. I'm sure its only the back two carriages that are reserved on a double 158.
You've seemingly got an obsession with reservations with asterisk
And yes I do frequently travel on this route...

It is in any case much less of a problem, west of Nottingham at least, as with a four-car set you are virtually assured of a seat.
